The hotel had changed its name before we arrived and this did confuse the taxi driver a bit and us as well. The porter was excellent and very helpful. Our room which was on the 12th floor with fantastic views when we drew back the curtains was superb. Yes the street did get a little noisy but it didnt bother... more
Had read a few reports about this being a very noisey Hotel. Maybe we were lucky to have a room that faced the back (room 816) but we could not hear a thing. the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the beds also very comfy. I stayed here for 4 nights and every single night was very noisy. There are bars next door that have outdoor bands playing - at some stages it is so loud you can't hear your own TV.
