We spent two nights at the Hyatt Regency in Adelaide on our way to and from Kangaroo Island. It is sleek, modern, comfortable, and just like any other Hyatt in the world. The restaurant had a nice buffet and we gourged ourselves on the cold seafood. The hotel is adjacent to the convention center and on the riverwalk. The concierge... more

If you stay anywhere long enough you will discover pros and cons. I stayed a dozen days in August and another 10 days in October this year (2008). It wasn't my first choice, but my client had a good rate there. In August, I stayed 6 nights in a standard room and 6 nights in a Gold Passport room. The... more

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a one night stay and really enjoyed ourselves. As other reviewers have noted, the doors on the wardrobes are dated as are the doors leading to the bathroom (at first we weren't even sure there WAS a bathroom in our room...it was quite deceptive) but the room otherwise was quite modern looking.... more

Let me assure you that whilst my husband and I are not experienced hotel stayers, we have stayed at this hotel many many times and have seen the hotel decline in so many ways. The management has changed (the old Hotel manager has moved to 'Mexico' is all the staff member said) and this has bought about a decline in... more

We booked this hotel to have a romantic weekend away to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary. It was our first trip to Adelaide and booked here simply thinking that it would be THE BEST accomodation in the city. We were let down from the moment we arrived. The check in person was rude and didn't say anything else but 'your... more

We stayed for two nights in an executive King room and it was fantastic. Great views from the 21st floor, very comfortable king sized bed, huge marble bathroom and access to the club room which was great as it included evening drinks and canapes and breakfast. Hotel is very centrally located being next door to the casino and very close... more

I have only ever stayed at The Hyatt in Adelaide with an exception of one time when they were booked out. I think this is the best property overall with cleanliness, customer service, location and overall look of the hotel. I do agree with the other reviewers here who say this hotel needs a refurbish. I noticed the TV's had... more

Had booked a 3 night deal for 2 adults &1 child. Upon request was upgraded to a King size river view room on the 17th floor. The staff were friendly and efficient with Valet Parking and Porter service to the room. The room was lovely but squeezy with a roll-away bed included, the outdoor pool was heated beautifully especially being... more

Just stayed at the Hyatt for two nights for business and I totally concur with the majority of the reviewers, the hotel is in desperate need of a refurb. It is in an excellent location with great views, and the lobby is smart and well presented, but once you get up to the rooms or restaurants it really shows its... more
