Mungerannie is an amazing place, iv have been there many, many times. There is a shower block, toilets, room, fuel, camping areas, Tyre shop and mechanic, pub, restaurant and hot spring. Considering the Hotel is in the middle of the Birdsville track, the toilets, showers and rooms are always kept clean and sanitary. The food is great and the service is... More

I've visited this hotel twice now and it's such a great little pub, I wish it was closer to home. Phil is a great publican and always makes you feel welcome with good conversation and friendly service. The pub is lined with old hats and relics from past and present and each one has a story. The beer is cold,... More

What a haven in the middle of nowhere and such a haven. Phil is a serious out backer and generous at the bar. We camped over the back by the wetlands and had it to ourselves. Photography n stars were amazing.

We stayed just one night at this wonderful spot, one of my favourites of the whole Outback tour. Tiny rooms, but clean and with very good shared shower facilities. The bar makes this place, a veritable museum of Outback and travellers' artefacts, you can spend hours exploring! Wonderfully welcoming staff, making for a night out to remember

Phil, Warren and the team were very friendly. A nice break half way along the Birdsville Track in our camper trailer. The amenities block was clean and good enough for somewhere so remote. The boys had a dip in the hot spa, while the girls took wonderful photos of the birdlife and sunset over the Mungerannie Billabong. Great atmosphere in... More

We stayed there for one night. The room was extremely small. The double bed barely fits into the room. The shared ablution block is clean and the pub and food was good. They like playing the movie of Tom Kruse in the pub. The hot water spring has a very scenic little lake with lots of bird life, great for... More

Mungerannie Hotel is only a small little stop along the Birdsville Track, but it certainly has lots of character! We stopped there to re-fuel and have some lunch, and some showers, and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitley go back there again, and I hope the same staff continue to run the hotel. Showers... More
