Recently I stayed at William Creek.. But I'd done my research prior to be aware of what to avoid. At first glance your Pelican room looks like a row of tin boxes in a line but upon opening the door you find a comfortable room for the night complete with TV, an A/C that handles the harsh outback temperatures... It... More

$95 for accomidation that is really nothing more than a container with two single beds squashed in it. No windows. A the restaurant, want gravy on your oily soggy schnitzel, extra 3 bucks. What just want a cup of water after paing for overpriced terrible accomidation and food, nope, but we will sell you a cup of tea. And the... More

We stayed one night in one of the rooms out the back of the pub. The configuration was a queen & 2 singles, and the bathroom had a shower, bath and sink and the toilet was separate. It was clean but very old. A tin shed with walls lined with wood panelling, which was soft to the touch and to... More

We were stuck in William Creek for 4 nights after heavy rains closed the roads in and out of William creek. If it were the end of the world, these guys are the ones I would want to go out with. We camped in the campground. Showers were hot and clean. Toilets were clean too. Washing machine and dryers were... More

We weren't sure we were going to stay here but the time of the day meant we had no choice and we are pleased that we did. We stayed in a cabin and while it was a little small, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable although they obviously have the market cornered because for what is was,... More

We checked into to The William Creek Hotel and stayed in one of the cabin rooms with en-suite. Very nice after several days of camping. We also enjoyed a meal in the restaurant, washed down with some beers in the quirky fun pub. All staff we dealt with were friendly and all have more than one job. Accommodation was a... More

We stopped here on our way past. A lovely outback pub. We met the friendly bar staff / pilots (everyone is a jack of all trades here). ... and Bert the friendly dingo / kelpie cross (he only has one job ... to lie around). Recommend this place as a stop on your way past. They also have a restaurant,... More

It is basically the only place to overnight within over a hundred miles, without camping. Fortunately the basic block rooms are clean, although small, and the separate bath block is reasonably clean if you ignore the couple of small spiders who have set up residence. The restaurant and bar are quirky and a welcome change from the dusty, bumpy gravel... More

We weren't originally staying at the campsite or hotel and were only calling in for a pit stop. Unfortunately our vehicle broke down 53km outside of William Creek and we returned to the hotel for assistance. The staff & owner were very welcoming and helpful so we stayed the night at the campsite. Highly recommended with very good amenities.
