We stayed at the Palm Terrace for a week recently. The room itself was great, quite spacious with a good shower room and balcony. Beware of the cockatoos! They are quite cute and nice to have around but they are not scared at all and will appear in large numbers at any sign of food! We did not have breakfast... more

We have just returned from 6 weeks travelling around Australia and the week spent in Hamilton Island was intended to be the (admittedly expensive) highpoint. Unfortunately it turned out to be the only downer of the entire trip. The place itself was reasonable, but compared to the service received at other, far cheaper, resorts it was sorely lacking.
