5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My wife and I stayed here briefly during a short tour of the Whitsunday islands. The island is owned solely by one entity, which allows for all of the various grades of hotel/villa to provide a joined up service while still giving the feeling of a luxury island retreat. The palm bungalows are very spacious and although there is no... More

I just stayed for 3 nights in one of the Palm Bungalows on Hamilton Island. Each bungalow feels completely private. You are close enough to the pool and beach to walk there in less then a minute but you are so protected by lush tropical trees that you would have no idea. You can't hear the children playing or the... More

We stayed for 5 nights as a family of 4 on the breakfast included kids eat free in the evening programme. The bunglow was big enough forus and was immaculately presented. There is a full size fridge, microwave, 2 hot plates and the kitchen and bathroom are beautiful. The room is recently refurbished and has a lovely balcony. We were in... More

We stayed at the Palm Bungalows over easter week for 5 nights. Arriving at Hamilton Island airport you are escorted to your luggage and taken to a minibus which takes you to the Reef View hotel for checkin to the Bungalows. Location: The Palm Bungalows are central to everything. 10 minute walk to the Marina, 5 minute walk to the... More

My wife and i recently had a five night stay in the bungalows and what can i say they are simply stunning.Hamilton Island is magnificent with plenty to do and we decided to stay in the Bungalows rather than the hotel for a change.First impressions that the bungalows looked lovely and they were. They are of a good size with everything... Clean, well appointed accommodation with self contained cooking facilities close the the main pool, beach, restaurants and Koala Park. Great value for money, definitely one of the better family/chilled out options on Hamo.

A group of three friend couples recently stayed at the Palm Bungalows (three different bungalows). Given the cost were expecting to be wowed - unfortunately that was not the case. The bungalows are nice and offered the ability to buy food and drinks from the general store on the island. The island is very nice, offering many activities to choose... More

After a trip via catamaran arrived at Hamilton Island. Absolutely stunning island in the Whitsundays. We were in a Palm Bungalow, beautifully modern, clean and with all facilities. Outside was a green area to which the wallabies visited at dusk. Wildlife all around, especially the noisy cockatoos! Pool area okay. Cats Eye beach was being renovated (they import sand) so... I would rate the Bungalows higher if they were an option in a normal place and not in the company town that is the developed part of Hamilton Island. We liked the Bungalows because they offer privacy and independence. They are spacious and have kitchenettes, effective a/c, and a place outside to sit and listen to the cockatoos prattle. But... Hamilton Island is one exceptional Resort. It is difficult to review Palm Bungalows without reference to the alternative accommodation provided by Hamilton Island. While the whole Island is available to explore most activity is focused on two locations, the Resort Centre and the Marina. It takes eight to ten minutes to walk from one location to the other; not flat,... More
