Missed our first night due to missing connections (thanks virgin) after arriving about 30 hours after leaving home were happy to just settle in . initially underwhelmed but once you got to know the place settled in ok. prices on basic items a bit over the top as with some meals. plenty of stuff to do for free. sit and... It's a great location but there are limited food options, especially at lunch time if you want a pool snack. Also the wine lists at the restaurants are not great. Evening entertainment is also very basic. We hired a boat and that was fun. We had organised a day trip to snorkel but that was cancelled at pretty short notice... More

Katy R My partner and I recently visited Daydream Island for a 5 night stay. First impressions last, and our first impression was fabulous. Upon arrival we were personally greeted at the Marina, escorted into the resort, and all the major facilities, activities, restaurants were all pointed out to us, and that was all in the first 10 minutes. The... More

Never having been on a island holiday before our family didn't know what to expect. What we got at Daydream island was a wonderfully friendly, relaxing family holiday. The rooms are nice and facilities are clean and of a great standard. What set this island apart from anywhere we had been was the level of customer service, professionalism and friendliness... More

Even though the resort is a bit older it is really well maintained and very clean as well. The staff were amazing. Excellent food and cocktails. A great experience all round. It was my Mum's 60th and we will all never forget it.

Like most australians chasing a warm holiday location we are faced with the choice to spend our money locally or overseas. Bali is cheap, so is Thailand, a little further in the plane wasn't practical with a 11 month old this time round however. First and foremost this island is great for families and the resort has done well to... More

We visited the Daydream Island Resort as part of a one day 3 island Whitsunday tour. We were not overly happy with our apartment at Airlie beach and enjoyed our stop on Daydream Island so much we decided to stay the night! The island is very picturesque, lovers cover is beautiful, and the hotel itself has a great buzz to... More

Absolutely beautiful views, the Island and the Whitsundays are stunning. Daydream is the perfect place to just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet, to relax by the pool and yet there are plenty of activities to do if you want to. The facilities are gorgeous, extremely clean, neat and tidy. The grounds are impeccably kept, so green and luscious.... More
