Our stay was very relaxing. The food and service in the main restaurant was 5 star quality and our suite had everything we needed. The resort had thought of every detail in the rooms. Our suite balcony that looked out over the rainforest was paradise, particularly during the day when the day tourists arrived. We had chosen to stay over... More

We visited green island on a day trip to go snorkelling. We also checked out part of the resort. I should point out I did not stay at the hotel. The beaches at green island are poor & small. There is a small area to snorkel in but after walking nearly 200 metres to get to it I almost turned... More

After a few hours in the water the Emerald was the perfect place to have a lovely relaxed lunch. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The childrens meals....burgers.....past the test! Our meals of also burgers and a crab salad were also very nice. The tropical drinks were very refreshing. No room for desert unfortunately because they looked delicious.

We had already read and understood that Green Island was frantic during the day with day tripping tourists, but hadn't expected it to absolutely die to nothing once the tourists had gone. Once the last boat left for the day, it was like being locked up in a fun park after the power had been turned off. The only thing... More

Really enjoyed staying on Green Island, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the only let down was having a connecting door to the next room as you could hear everything and also could hear everything from the room above. Sat on the beach, snorkelled, walked around the island, went on the glass bottom boat, went out snorkelling to the... More

We stayed 4 nights in the Reef King Suite, gorgeous room a little tropical paradise, our balcony was private facing the sea although you cant see the water as you are surrounded in natural rain forest, lovely to stay on an island where the resort has to fit in with the natural environment and not the other way around. The... More

Green Island is very relaxing, with amazing azure waters abundant with fish and corals. The island is small but the rooms are a reasonable size and fit a family of four comfortably. Once the day trippers leave the island becomes much more intimate and tranquil. Green Island reminds us of Fiji with out the long flights. Will definitely be returning.

The resort staff Front office and crew were exceptional in customer service but there is one letdown which is the unclear off limits area for special VIP dinner beach .One of the food and beverage staff politely approached though apologetic that the place was reserved for a Vip event hence as we are having a light meal snacks after day... We took the 8:30 am ferry to the island and were a led to account access our Famiy room (2 queen beds) immediately after the informative introduction/orientation. Included in our package was unlimited access to Marineland Melanesia. We visited regularly to watch the massive saltwater crocodiles being fed. We also snorkelled and swam, enoyng the corals and fish up close.... More

Lots of sea life around the island. Worth staying at the resort to enjoy the snorkeling and diving at a leisurely pace. Dinner served at the Emerald Restaurant was of a high quality. Inventive and delicious dishes. Perfect setting to relax and recuperate after a full day under the sun. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, well appointed but decor is... More
