Fantastic time away. Tropical waters and lush rain forest all in one. Take a picnic hamper and your flippers and mask for a great day out. Big breakfast gets you going and then maybe a snack from the pools side bar. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced. Snorkelling during fish feeding time is a must. Definitely going... More

Beautiful, hard to believe this resort can coexist happily with the coral reef, rainforest and abundant wildlife, but it does so well. Nestled within the forest only metres from such beautiful beaches, yet from offshore you'd never know it was there. He rooms are very classy and the restaurant good if a bit expensive and with choice a bit limited.... More

The hotel is fine, nothing fancy, clean rooms, friendly staff and a descent space in each room. The benefits of the hotel are their night walks, crock farm, star gazing, fish feeding, turtles and it's proximity to the outer reef. All these bonuses make it a good place for a family stay. The night excursion/walk - this was great fun... More

Late review My husband and I stayed at Green Island, the accommodation was great, food good, the island itself is very pretty. BUT way to many tourist on the island during the day, you feel like you cannot come out until they have gone. We were there in stinger season which did not matter we put suits on. The Snorkelling... The resort rooms are spacious, very clean, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Also the staff is very helpful (starts at the registration desk in Cairns) and we felt welcome. The beaches are perfect. We did see some turtles, fishes of all colours, even a little shark - and this despite a bad weather. Breakfast & Dinner at the resort restaurant were... More

The resort is excellent, especially the sunset drinks and fish feeding ,but we experienced 3 days of chain saw and mulcher noise during the daytime.Resort management did not even bother to respond to feedback.

Was well worth spending extra to stay here. We checked in at the dock and they take your luggage for you at that point, so you don't need to worry about getting it on and off the boat. You are met on the island by a member of staff and given a quick orientation of the facilities. Our room was... More

Great room, fun place especially when day trippers leave for the night. Track down the sunset drinks each night - great chance to chat with other guests. Breakfast was fantastic every day, but restaurant could use a change of dinner menu every couple of days as it's the only place to eat at. Service at restaurant varied from poor to... More

We originally only booked a day and night , but after the first night we stayed on for another night. This place is so romantic . Once all the day trippers have left you feel like you have your own very resort . The service is first class , the room and bathroom are excellent. I highly recommend getting the... More

Took the first boat out to the island, which left Cairns at 10.30am, and so arrived at the island at approx 11.30am. As we were staying on the island we were given a sticker, to distinguish us from the day trippers. Our bags were taken when we checked in at Cairns & were delivered to our rooms for us on... More
