If you fancy tasting luxury at an affordable price and you happen to be in this neck of the wood then this is the place for you. Your ticket buys you a return trip to Green island on a sea cat plus however many nights bed and breakfast at one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at.... More

Overall our family of 4 adults and 2 children had a great stay on a weekend at Green Island Resort. The beach was peaceful and great after 4pm (when the day tourists have all left) with the kids enjoying close encounters with the fish swimming all around them. Resort staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed... More

We spent 3 nights here in January. Which is of course a busy time . However. Once the day trippers have left after 430pm . We had the island to ourselves . I don't why people are complaining about it being so deserted . This is the whole beauty of this place . We had the beach and restaurant to... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. Yes it's expensive and yes there are a lot of day visitors to the island but having said that, we found the service to be excellent and the day guests easy to avoid. Food in the restaurant was amazing and the activities were more than enough for us. Rooms were very good quality and... More

We stayed at Green Island Resort for 7 nights after buying a Luxury Escapes package...let's be honest, could not have afforded it otherwise! Very very pricey accommodation; for $700 a night, one would expect three meals a day! The food at the Emerald Restaurant was exceptional though, and worth the money. All reviews mention the day trippers - yes, aplenty!... More

Our stay was very relaxing. The food and service in the main restaurant was 5 star quality and our suite had everything we needed. The resort had thought of every detail in the rooms. Our suite balcony that looked out over the rainforest was paradise, particularly during the day when the day tourists arrived. We had chosen to stay over... More

We visited green island on a day trip to go snorkelling. We also checked out part of the resort. I should point out I did not stay at the hotel. The beaches at green island are poor & small. There is a small area to snorkel in but after walking nearly 200 metres to get to it I almost turned... More

After a few hours in the water the Emerald was the perfect place to have a lovely relaxed lunch. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The childrens meals....burgers.....past the test! Our meals of also burgers and a crab salad were also very nice. The tropical drinks were very refreshing. No room for desert unfortunately because they looked delicious.

We had already read and understood that Green Island was frantic during the day with day tripping tourists, but hadn't expected it to absolutely die to nothing once the tourists had gone. Once the last boat left for the day, it was like being locked up in a fun park after the power had been turned off. The only thing... More

Really enjoyed staying on Green Island, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the only let down was having a connecting door to the next room as you could hear everything and also could hear everything from the room above. Sat on the beach, snorkelled, walked around the island, went on the glass bottom boat, went out snorkelling to the... More
