I have always wanted to stay at one of the over water bungalows in Bora Bora, but they generally cost thousands per night. This place goes from being rather crowded (you can get away from them as a hotel guest) to absolute tranquil after 4:30. Being that the hotel is on a reef island, they allow tourists to visit during... More

I can not fault this resort at all! The rooms have all the extras that one would expect in a five star resort!!lovely and leafy. Beautiful pool for hotel guests which is nice and secluded from the day trippers. Restaurant amazing.both breakfast and Dinner, I cannot fault.best food I have had in a long time! A MUST is Marineland Melanesia.... More

At first I was amazed at the beautiful blue water, then the amount of day visitors to the Island but once we were in our beautifully appointed room these visitors were not seen or heard. After the last boat goes for the day then its time to head out and explore the Island and its beautiful bush walks and snorkel... More

The island is an absolute gem - living corals, tropical fish, and the sandy beach at the same time. Good modern rooms, unexpectedly good restaurant. The island is too busy in the daytime toourist time (10:30am-4:30 pm) but feels like a private island outside those hours

5 star island, 2 star resort. Superb location, however... The island smells strongly of urine due to tourists relieving themselves in wetsuits. The smell is overwhelming. The resort burns incense to try mask it but it is absolutely pungent. The beds in our room were at least 10-15 years old. We could all feel the springs in the mattresses and... More

We stayed 2 nights at Green Island Resort in a reef room no.4. The best way to describe Green Island is it is like staying at a theme park. During the day there are a lot of day visitors, you have to line up, you can still enjoy but you have to share -when the day visitors leave you have... More

It's amazing to be 45 minutes out into the ocean and staying on a 26acre island with all the amenities! We stayed 3 nights, which is plenty. The main restaurant is great, the other food I wouldn't bother with. Its poolside food at its worst. The rooms are pretty nice, not as amazing as the price should indicate. We did... More

A beautiful island on the GBR with lovely staff but the resort itself is in need of some refurbishment and during the day, because of the influx of day visitors, the Island is awash with tourists. Once the last boat takes day visitors back to Cairns the island is just for hotel residents, which is lovely. One complaint is that... More

My partner and i stayed at Green island resort last weekend and we had the time of our lives. The rooms were beautiful and the staff were incredibly lovely. The staff made us feel very special like we were VIP's. Definitely recommend this resort for any age group. 110/100

Loved the resort but the shower was awful and unfortunately, the restaurant meals we picked were not if a high standard. Such a shame as it was my 50th birthday. Perhaps go back to basics and cook it well. The desserts were so complicated we didn't understand them! I. Would always expect a brûlée and a choc cake/tart of some... More
