We stayed at the hotel in April and had amazing romantic stay. Truly once in a lifetime experience. It actually rained for a few days but that didn't matter at all. Great for everyday snorkelling. Rooms are extremely spacious and luxurious. Food was amazing. We had in room service couple of times but also ate at the restaurant. Restaurant had... More

We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. We had the family package which included virtually everything you could do on the island, my wife even had an 1hr massage in the package (that went down well). The room was great but not for a family of 4 it really needs 3 beds not 2 doubles, but... More

Stayed for 4 nights in an Island Suite room. Was impressed with the appearance and comfort of the room, very generous in size. The only let down for me was the lack of sound proofing. The gentleman's snoring in the next room was disruptive at night and you could hear the people in the room above as well. My husband enjoyed... More

Our stay was just one night, went over first boat, home last so great value considering it is not a thrifty night out! We fortunately were there in the shoulder season but I would guess during peak times it would be very busy. : Food was great at the reastaurant and breakfast a real treat!

This truly was a highlight of our Australian tour. Beautiful accommodation and magical snorkeling off the pier. A must for anyone wanting to escape for a few days. Not a place to go if you are looking for nightlife....stay in Cairns for that.

Green Island is delightful rain-forested coral cay about 45 minutes from Cairns by high-speed ferry. Virtually all activities around the island are water-based so, if that’s not your interest, go elsewhere. The resort part of GI is discreetly fenced off from the throngs of day-trippers but it does mean that if you are there for long enough to want some... More

Green island is the first stop off on the way to the Great barrier Reef and the resort is a wonderful place to take a short break. I think it's particularly suited to those with a keen wildlife interest due to the rainforest and national park that inhabits the island. It isn't five star luxury but the rooms are spacious... More

Green Island is a 45 minute transfer from Cairns. The morning our boat departed was in rough seas so there were people with sickness (unfortunate and nothing to do with the rating of this review!). There was a bit of rain throughout our two day stay but managed to snorkel when the sky cleared up. There's not much to do... More

The island is magical and stating there makes it even more special so you can enjoy when the tourists leave . The rooms are not as separate as it's seems on the site and the ones over the pool are noisy , however the manager was very helpful in trying to sort it out for us
