Was well worth spending extra to stay here. We checked in at the dock and they take your luggage for you at that point, so you don't need to worry about getting it on and off the boat. You are met on the island by a member of staff and given a quick orientation of the facilities. Our room was... More

Great room, fun place especially when day trippers leave for the night. Track down the sunset drinks each night - great chance to chat with other guests. Breakfast was fantastic every day, but restaurant could use a change of dinner menu every couple of days as it's the only place to eat at. Service at restaurant varied from poor to... More

We originally only booked a day and night , but after the first night we stayed on for another night. This place is so romantic . Once all the day trippers have left you feel like you have your own very resort . The service is first class , the room and bathroom are excellent. I highly recommend getting the... More

Took the first boat out to the island, which left Cairns at 10.30am, and so arrived at the island at approx 11.30am. As we were staying on the island we were given a sticker, to distinguish us from the day trippers. Our bags were taken when we checked in at Cairns & were delivered to our rooms for us on... More

The resort was really nice - we took our granddaughters there for a short break and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The food in the restaurant was very nice but not fine dining, the serving staff extremely friendly. The weather was perfect, not too hot, really pleasant and the family enjoyed snorkeling and wandering around the island. There were other activities... More

Granted it was just a weekend away and the weather was not ideal, however our experience did not live up to the 4 and 5 star experiences listed here for this resort. At over $600.00 a night I expected top shelf service and a good selection of services. We had a nice sized room, quiet location and pleasant surroundings, but... More

This resort was fantastic. We stayed for three nights and loved it there. The staff were super helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. It did get a bit busy on the beach during the day with the other visitors, but not to the point that it was overwhelming. If you stay then you get all your snorkelling... More

The hotel was just beautiful with everything we needed. The staff were very eager to please. It was unfortunate that the weather was terrible (drizzle and 40kt winds!) but we made the best of it. Would highly recommend anyone going to the Island Resort - it was great!

We stayed at the hotel in April and had amazing romantic stay. Truly once in a lifetime experience. It actually rained for a few days but that didn't matter at all. Great for everyday snorkelling. Rooms are extremely spacious and luxurious. Food was amazing. We had in room service couple of times but also ate at the restaurant. Restaurant had... More
