We have just come home from our 4 day stay at Cathedrals to Cathy and all the crew this was the most enjoyable time away you all made us feel so welcome. The park was amazing and everything you need is supplied. We would recommend it to everyone and we will be back for our next holidays. Loved it. Bruce... More

We booked a cabin for 4 person with kitchen inside and restroom outside. It was ok and clean, the restroom was also acceptable clean. We experienced that the owners/staffs were helpful. She lent me a phone because we had some problems with our 4wd rental. I also borrowed it to call our car rental. At the end she grumbled a... More

My husband and I stayed in one of your 3 people cabins, 12 - 15th March. The nightly tariff was somewhere in the vicinity of $180. The cabin had lights that didn't work as well as an exhaust hood that neither worked or lit up. No where to hang clothing, no can opener? in the kitchenette. One double power point... More

Biggest mistake was booking a tent at Cathedrals. The owners would make great housing commission flat designers. They would make heaps of money for the government. They know how to design & plan so people are packed in. In fact, they should move the Australian detention centre from Naru to Cathedral it's set up ready to go. I paid for... More

Don't go. We had Christmas there and booked one of thier already set up permanent tents on a timber deck with a deck. The deck was a step. We arrived to find the Tents were in one big circle facing inwards towards each other and I measured that they were approx. 30 centimetres apart from each other. Beside us was... More

Being our first time to Fraser, well for me anyway, not hubby; we decided to stay here so our family of 4 ( 2 adults, 2 kids 4 and 6 ) had power and Amenities on hand. We met up with friends in Hervey Bay and caught the barge from River Heads. You have to reverse on the barge so... More

No toilet paper in the ladies toilets. Shared water tap at the site wouldn't turn off. Large, unmarked, trip hazard outside the ladies toilet. Disguised hole in the concrete at the camp kitchen. Covered with a rubber mat. Caused two sprained ankles. Bins not emptied frequently. Taps in showers & sinks leaking. Lighting in ablution blocks inadequate. Nails protruding out... More

We found the staff extremely friendly. Great coffee and the best stocked shop on the island. They even had a radiator cap. Not sure what the reviewer was talking about with the dingos. Its Fraser island of course there are Dingos and if you were dingo aware like you should be when camping you would know not to leave any... More

There was never any toilet paper and the park was pretty much empty. When we were out during the day we came home to find our waeco fridge tipped on its side and all our food gone and eaten inside. Dingos had eaten all our food. Friends that were camping next to us had their tent ripped open by dingos... More

Don't know what the last two reviewer where taking but we stayed there the same time and it was clean and tidy. Plenty of loo paper, all caravan parks at peak times you wait for showers etc! No soap, ha that's because you bring your own, hello. The staff were awesome and went out of their way to help out,... More
