A functional hotel in south Townsville, perfectly adequate for our one night stay. Small room and bathroom, free parking. Across the road were several restaurants, we ate at the Mexican which was very good. Townsville itself was pleasant enough, very pleasant as a stop off point and we had a nice stroll around town—lots of building work going on though. more

Very basic hotel, done on the cheap. Only because it is new it seems okay. Depends really what you are after. Only basic so shouldn't pay over $100. Good location on Palmer street, however Strand is much more appealing. more
