Stayed in a family room recently but nowhere on Booking.com did it mention that there was a trundle bed. We felt that this room was far too small to be advertised as a family room especially with teenagers. Bathroom needed a good clean, mouldy ceilings were a bit of a turn off. Parking was an issue, not enough spaces for... More

I had 5 children with me had plenty of room, they loved it. Cooking appliances and utensils on hand, close to the city but still a very quiet area. Motel staff very polite much appreciated and would happily stay here again.

I stayed here with my dada on a trip to Townsville for a Cwoboys match. The room was nothing special but fine for what we needed with a decent bathroom, fairly comfortable beds and it was relatively clean and tidy. The restaurant was closed the day we stayed which was a Saturday which may annoy others but was fine for... More

Hi GerardC thank you for taking the time to write a review on our property. The restaurant is closed Saturday evenings only, so our hardworking chef can have a day off. It is still open every morning for breakfast. However, on Saturdays, we do offer a delivery service from the menu of a very good Chinese restaurant. Here's hoping the... More

We only stayed here for 1night and have rebooked for 1n in a couple of weeks. The bathroom are a little outdated and mouldy on the ceiling, other than that it was a room with comfy beds and quiet location and walking distance to everything in the city.

I travelled with my elderly grandfather and they were able to accommodate us with a ground floor and a chair for him to sit in. Friendly staff, clean rooms and bathroom. They do offer a breakfast service not included in the room price which is good if you don't feel like going out in the mornings.

We spent a single night here on our way back south from Port Douglas. We'd stopped on the way a hiked around Wallaman Falls, so we got into Townsville fairly late and it seemed our only options were the Comfort Inn or a backpacker. The room wasn't spectacular, but it wasn't bad either ... the beds were comfortable, the bathroom/shower... More

The rooms were dated, the TV didn't work, the toilet leaked, two bulbs were broken and the bed was not particularly comfortable. We could have overlooked all of these things had the parking not been so atrocious and were told the parking works on a "First In Best Dressed" policy. To cap it all off - when we mentioned just... We needed a pet-friendly hotel and this is one of very few in Townsville. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was suitable and fine for a one or two night stopover. My only complaint would be that the room does not have a balcony or verandah so if you are staying there, you literally stay in the room which is... More

Townsville was just a dot on the map when we booked. Not expecting much our initial reception did nothing to change our perception that two nights would be ample. Perhaps the receptionist had had a bad day. Things improved rapidly however when we saw our comfortable, well equipped room. We were on the first floor although people were passing along... More

Our room was comfortable, clean and everything worked. It is very close to the city and an easy walk to town. parking however is a big issue when busy. When we arrived (4.30pm) we couldn't park on site as there was a function and cars were occupying many spaces.. Eventually we got a park. On the second night however, it... More
