We stayed at the Golden Gate for 7 nights. It was just ok. Like the other reviewer, we could definitely have booked somewhere better, and did during the second week of our stay. The apartment was spacious, and clean - if you didn't look to closely! Having said that, the location was great, just a short walk to the shops... more

We felt that we could have got better value for our money elsewhere. The are definitely problems with these apartments., like $25 fee if the users of the apartments do not clean up properly. and the $250 tow away fee if you accidentally park in someone else's car park. Reception is only open between 9-12am on Saturday and you have... more

Not a lot to say really. The apartments are pretty spacious, but the one I stayed in was 'tired' to be kind. Beds are comfy, bathrooms and kitchens not too icky, but it really could do with a bit of tlc. Nice views from upper floors, and pretty well located though. more
