My family and I stayed at the unit 2709 in Dec of last year. It would appear that we were the “lucky family” to have arrived after the wall was damaged so we were relocated into one of their other lovely apartments as it was clear to us that the builder would take another few days to fix the wall.... more

I took my 13 year old daughter for some quality mother/daughter time and thought we would splash out on an expensive hotel. Initially we were booked on the 54th floor. After getting into our room we found that there had been a large party the night before and the couch was stained and wet!!! not very nice at all. We... more

Whilst this hotel was lovely, and the room was quite spacious, the only down side to the whole room was the fact that the beds are 2 single beds pushed together to make a Queen. When I told the lady on the front desk how dissapointed I was with the bedding arrangements, she said all the beds in the hotel... more

I recently returned to the q1 for a overnight stay, as I was travelling with family we got a 3 bedroom sky rise apartment.. As we arrived at the resort, check in was quick and simple once we made our way to room we were greeted by a large open and rather plain looking room located on level 62, the... more

I stayed at Q1 for over a week with my family. We booked through the official stella website and had a great 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment at the front of the building with uninterrupted sea views at the front and lovely hinterland views from the side. We could even see the whales migrating north form the apartment. The apartment... more

I just spent one night here and thought it was lovely. My partner did comment that the hotel lobby looked cold. But I thought it was still nice. My room was really nicely furnished (although the arm chairs did have stains on them and the carpet had some burns in it). The bed didn't bother me at all. It would... more

We stayed at Q1 12 months ago, we loved our apartment...... we were quite high up, room was very modern, spacious great furniture, kitchen was out of this world....... massive! Location was great we based ourselves there to do the theme parks. Easy walking to Cavill Ave for tea or dessert. The hotel is very modern and chic, all in... more

I was incredibly excited about staying at the Q1 - all the photos looked amazing, the features were stunning and the room seemed like it would be gorgeous. However... On arrival we were greeted by a very cold-seeming reception and no receptionist in site. When one did arrive they were able to send us up to our room, but there... more

We got a fantastic deal ($165/night for a city view 1 br apartment). I guess it's low season at the moment. We stayed for 6 nights and found the apartment to be modern and well equipped. The outdoor pool facilities appear to be top notch but it was too cold to swim. I thought about using the indoor spa but... more

Stayed here in a 2 bedroom apartment on 40+ level with my family in summer 2006. Positive points: -The most modern and tallest building in Gold Coast with very spacious interiors. Our apartment included 2 bedrooms (1 master and 1 with twin beds), 2 bathrooms (unique shower blinds from inside the bedroom), a fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining area,... more
