Good points:
The central area between the rooms is really nice with lovely palm trees and a small nice looking pool and spa (although it rained so we didn't use them)
It's a bargain - only $126 AUD a night for four people through Wotif/Last Minute
Well stocked kitchen

Could be improved:
The vibe is a bit impersonal, it feels like there's lots of security in case you trash the room or are worried about your things being stolen
No lamps in lounge area, just flourescent lights - a bit institutional
Funny smell in apartment (we suspected carpet steam cleaning chemicals)

Overall:
A pretty good deal - probably best when the weather's nice and you are at the beach for most of the day or can enjoy the central area more. more
