Stayed here 4 nights in a twin room and were pretty impressed to discover that we had an apartment style room with our own kitchen, bathroom and lounge which you share with one other room. Free wifi in courtyard and free use of washing machine is a bonus. The pool area is pretty nice. Free shuttle to town and greyhound... More

I did like this hostel. Good atmosphere and the big backpackers night out was great!! They do offer free wifi however it's turned off between 10pm-7:30am and is only available in the courtyard and reception area...hardly seems fair! Also the rooms were very hot...they need some aircon! Staff were lovely and there was a free shuttle into town every hour.... More

We haved stayed in many hostels which were ridiculously dirty and inconvenient which was definately not my cup of tea but this has been far best the best hostel we have stayed in. Me and my boyfriend stayed in the double room in the apartment style room and it was the cleanest and quietest room. The staff were super friendly... More

I enter any hostel with an open mind, but when my original booked prices weren't honoured i was peeved. Given attitude and felt treated like an idiot when I challenged it, so not the best start. Not given a run down of facilities or programs either so probably missed out on a few things. You get what you pay for... More

While the rooms were clean and tidy, the hostel itself is quite outdated and they falsely advertise their facilities. There is no air conditioning which makes sleeping on foam mattresses basically a sweat pool. Their pool is more like a bath, and the "sports and gaming lounge" is a mouldy semi converted basement that would be much more adequately named... More

I have stayed here before and stayed here again and will do if I visit the Gold Coast. It is walking distance to town, staff (though have changed since the last time I was there) are very helpful and friendly. Will def. stay here again when I visit the coast.

I stayed here for 2 nights in a 6 bed dorm with an ensuite. When I got off the greyhound bus there was a lady who asked what hostel people were staying at as she would arrange a pick up. The hostel man came and took me to the hostel. Once I got off the hostel bus I was walked... More

This is hostel is amazing the staff are good the place is good the location is good, but the owner(Brad) isn't nice in the slightest bad attitude totally disrespectful to a customer that's paid solid for 3 weeks to which I also helped out staff after they had an Isue with a gentleman who was threatening them helped out when... No air con in the dorms make it impossible to sleep in the Aussie heat and the cheap mattresses don't help either. The hostel is actually a 20 min walk from surfers and not in surfers itself. Although they do run a bus it's only on for a few hours during the day. Wouldn't stay again, there are plenty of... More

Located opposite 'florida gardens' tramstop (or just a 10 minute walk from the main strip in surfers paradise), the location was great. we stayed in a private room, which shared a large living/dining area, kitchen and bathroom with only one other room. the hostel was clean and the facilities were great. there's a pool, free wifi in the courtyard area,...
