Stayed at Australis Soverign Hotel last weekend - cannot recommend it highly enough. Great location helpful staff wonderful room. Very spacious. Central location. Great food at the restaurant. Lovely to find we could by wine and beer from reception after we arrived late Friday night. Also nice to find at ATM in the foyer. Will be back there next time... More

Actually my wife and myself were there in May 2005. The available options on the TripAdvisor website doesn't show that month so chooser the oldest available. Anyways good hotel. As it has been very long so can't recall a lot but do still have good memories of it. As May is winters in Australia so didn't do any water sports... More

Well we got here and firstly they wanted a $200 bond so that was standard I guess but a hassle as not told about it before hand. NO free parking as it's a "valet" service which costs $25 for two nights, PFFFFT, like I'm gonna pay that! It should come standard for a hotel which is apparently 4 star. So... More

My husband and I and our 3 year old stayed here for 2 nights while on the Gold Coast. I am well travelled so this hotel to me is only just on average, maybe even below that. Nothing nice about it except location, big rooms and maybe the pool area. Our Room 304 was most definitely outdated with dusty old... More

I treated my 2 grandaughters a nite in surfers paradise and what a nightmare it turned out to be, not being familiar with staying in hotels they arrived and went to reception to be told they needed $200 bond or a credit card that had funds in it they were denied access to the room until such a time that... So I went to Gold Coast, Australia in February 2014 with another friend. This hotel worked really well for us as we were looking for a budget accommodation. I can't remember exactly how much we paid, but it was the cheapest option. Now, this particular hotel, is the furthest away from the hub, which would roughly be a 7-10 minute... More

We payed $200 for two nights including breakfast for two. We booked only 24 hours before arrival so it was a great price. My partner loved the many sports channels and we had fun in the heated pool, hot spa and sauna. It was great that breakfast was available until 11am on weekends. Breakfast included everything you'd want the only... More

They rooms are very spacious. The WiFi is spotty and is an extra charge. There was construction going on on the pool deck so a constant jack hammer did make for a quite noisy room during the day. All in all a good hotel for the price. In walking distance to the beach and the very pleasant promenade at Surfers... More

We got a special deal through our timeshare but I am reviewing this as if i paid full tariff. The room we stayed in was room 402 and it was 1 bedroom with a large living area and small kitchenette with microwave, sink and dishwasher. It also had a sofa bed. The room was in need of a facelift but... More

Just returned from 3 nights staying in a 1 bedroom apartment, which was spacious & well appointed as we were to attending the Pan Pacific games we found it most convenient & very handy to the tram, the staff were great - allowing us to check in early when we arrived dripping wet & showing an interest in what we...
