The Peninsula is in a great location with spectacular 180 degree views from our apartment. The foyer and communal areas are newly renovated, and it had great facilities. I've stayed in many apartments on the Gold Coast, and this has huge rooms (not like most of the newer buildings) which you can actually entertain in. more

I highly recommend staying well away from this resort. It looks fine from the outside, but the inside desperately needs a makeover. Our room on the 5 floor was dated, smelly and sticky. The couch was old and broken, the sliding doors had broken latches, the curtains did not close completely, every fork, knife & glass had to be washed... more

The location of The Peninsula is very convenient to the beach and central Surfers Paradise, and the views are indeed wonderful. Unfortunately the whole experience was let down by the fact that the hotel itself is very dated, and the rooms urgently need a good clean, repair and paint. The 2 rooms we were allocated in this hotel were very worn out and small. Chipped and broken tiles laminex. Cupboard doors that fell off on my 10 year old son when opened.
