We stayed here for 4 nights in a bunk house room (1 x Queen Bed, 1 x Bunks). Bunk area is partitioned off and the kids have their own TV & PS2. Games and DVD's are available from the shop down staris, free of charge however there is a $100 security bond for each disc borrowed. A bit steep for... more

I did not do sufficient research and ended up at this "RESORT?". This is a very dated crowded place to stay especially the pool areas. The food is poor and the theme is very tacky. It felt like staying overnight at a CRECHE with no real services for Adults not even a gym to do some excercise...the beds were small... more

All in all this was a great place to take the kids, but is really only suitable for kids 0-12 year olds with great activities and Kids club through out the day. I think teenages would find it boring, the only negative thing I would say about the Paradise Resort is that it is very noisy, we had a room... more

I'd read very mixed reviews about Paradise Resort and was unsure what to expect. But we were more than pleased with our experience, and would recommend it to anyone with children under about 10, perhaps except for those with a particular preference for premium luxury accommodation. We were most pleased by how relaxed we were able to be with our... more

We've just returned from Paradise Resort, where we spent 3 nights during peak school holiday period with 2 and 6 year old boys. I have mixed feelings about this resort. Definitely not 5 star - but I don't think they claim to be. Ultimately, it's difficult to find somewhere that is truly kid friendly and also offers something for the... more

We checked out after 1 night because we found Paradise Resort to be cramped, daggy, unappealing, run down and although desk service was generally good, we felt like we were trapped in a ball pit with beds. So unclean that my son woke up with asthma (he hardly ever gets it.) We found a spacious 3br apartment near Main Beach... more

I stayed there in August 2006 with a 2yo, 7yo and 9yo. The older two kids thought the kids club was pretty average and not enough exciting things to do. It look fantastic in the brochure. The pools weren't the cleanest, our eldest caught an ear infection (had something growing in his ear) from the main pool. The rooms were... more

I am a travel agent, so having 'sold' this property before in holiday packages, my stay was both personal and for research purposes. Staying at the Paradise Resort (formerly called the Mercure Resort Surfers Paradise) was fantastic for my family young family, (2 Adults & 2 Kids, aged 5 & 3yrs). Even though we were only there for a short... more

my partner and i chose this place because it's price, the option for a queen bed over a double and because we were running out of time and had to picka place. We wound up in a room with a double bed and a single. the pillows weren't too great but they did the job. foxtel sure helped. we asked... more

Booked here with mixed expectations looking at other peoples reviews. My main drive for booking here is it had a kids club that catered for under 4's (quite a few don't). On arriving I could see this was the place for holidaying with a young child. We went for the buffet meal the first night, not the cheapest but food... more
