We spent 4 days at the hotel during our sales conference. I found the service very good from the staff also very helpful, loved the lemonade drink and iced tea in reception area as you walked in. Rooms clean & tidy a very funky/retro hotel to stay at, close walk to the beach, shops & places to eat. I would... More

When you walk into the hotel there is a spacious modern feel. While waiting to book in you are offered some home made lemonade. The staff are dressed to match the funky decor of 1950's style. Our looked towards the ocean very spacious with a lounger ion and a bar a little balcony. Just a beautiful feel to comfortable rooms... More

This is one of the best boutique hotels I've stayed so far. It is right next to ocean and the views from ocean view room was amazing. The rooms were a bit small compared to other hotels in similar price range, but were neat, tidy and well decorated. The food at restaurant was delicious. Will definitely come back again.

We stayed here for 3 nights during the ProBlogger Conference and really enjoyed our stay at this retro-styled hotel. Our twin share mountain view room was spacious, with two double beds and still plenty of space for us and all the gear two women need for 3 days :-) The room had a balcony, table, two chairs, a kettle/tea making... Phone broken. Called reception on mobile to order room service. Told item unavailable and to look at late night menu. Looked & ordered same item. Told ok! What the ! Service very poor all round. Would never return. Much better hotels in Gold Coast than this one. Like Gold Coast but this place is tired & poor.

I went to a small conference held here and the facilities were very good. I'm not really a big fan of the style but it was done well without being tacky or like a theme place so I enjoyed it anyway. The idea of being able to purchase the decorations in the rooms was a nice touch (I quite liked... More

Travelled here on business with a group and we were expelled from the hotel bar because one of my colleagues had a short sleeved shirt and had tattoos (ta Moko). We were dining and told to; finish our drinks and leave... We were generously granted 10 minutes. Unacceptable and total unprofessional; especially for our Maori colleagues. We won't be back.

I stayed at QT GC for business this week because it was recommended by my mrandmrssmith.com membership and enjoyed the experience. Front desk service was excellent, room service was prompt (although assiduous in checking for tips...), the rooms were thoughtfully appointed and the retro fit-out is great. (It's great now because it's still fairly new. The challenge will be to... More

I stayed at the QT for two nights with a friend on the $500 for two nights deal which included breakfast for two on both days and a dinner for two at Bazzare. The hotel itself has been renovated really well, very unique design compared with other gold coast hotels - it has a very uplifting feel to it and... More
