if all you need is a basic old style motel in which you will only sleep,city walk is for you...visiting rockhampton for a couple of nights i was able to get a room for A$62 in which everything worked and the light breakfast (cornflakes,bread for toaster,butter and jam-tea making facilities were already in room-were placed in frig late afternoon)reception arranged... more
