Jason obligingly agreed to show us all four available rooms and we chose the room numbered 3, very small but recently refurbished, and clean and inviting. When told it was a quiet room due to no floorboards in the unit above, we were sold. It turned out to be noisier than expected. The footsteps of a person in the room... More

The Citywalk was all I needed for the one night I stayed. Central location, clean and comfortable, well equipped room, free wifi, firm mattress - and all at a reasonable price. It's not at the luxury end of the spectrum, but more than does the job. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

I recently stayed overnight here at CityWalk midweek. Busy motel with very helpful friendly reception. I was allocated a ground floor apartment. The plus side, I didn't have to carry my belongings upstairs. The downside, the room was very noisy. I could hear everything from rooms either side, and the person staying on the top floor. This was annoying while... More

We stayed overnight in July. The Manager at check in was helpful and obliging. The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean, but with no strong cleaning product odours which we really appreciated. We would definitely stay there again.

Looked newly renovated and clean. The price was pretty good but the room was small. Slept well. Ok for an overnight stay. Would chose an upstairs room next time as we could hear bathroom activities from the downstairs room.

Had a one night stay in June, booked two rooms. Friendly service, very clean and sensibly renovated rooms. Good value for money. If you want flash and 5 star, this is not the place. If you want reasonable accommodation, close to town, this is the place.

We were being chased south by cyclone ITA in April and took refuge here on Easter Sunday, what a lovely proprietor met us. Had a lovely comfortable room, beautifully clean. Although the town was in "lock down" due to the public holiday he managed to point us to a lovely fish restaurant which was nearby and it turned out it... More

Two of us spent one night here on a business trip. it was exceptionally clean, tidy and convenient. breakfast menus were provided in the folder inside the room, but in fact you could not get breakfast at the hotel. there are plenty of options close by, but why leave the menus there??? The hotel is quiet, but there was some... More

A small room felt a little short in desk/tabletop space but otherwise fine. Clean and presentable and nice people. Slept ok. Not expensive - good place for an overnight stop. No restaurant but good food available close by.

Citywalk is set in a downtown area of the old CBD and is within walking distance of Eating, Shops and the Riverfront. The rooms are on two floors with outside steps to reach the upper level set on 2 sides of a large parking area. It is functional rather than pleasing to the eye. Our upstairs rooms were however large,... More
