There's not much short notice choice in Rockie. Single bed with shower and shared WC hardly sounded enticing. Bed very comfortable and linen clean and crisp. Staff very helpful with late as possible check-out. Could not fault it for the price. More

I read about the Criterion in the Lonely Planet. I checked in late in the evening. Ryan the owner was friendly. He explained their EFTPOS machine was down. I paid for 2 nights cash ($55/night). We stayed in one of the motel rooms. We found it comfortable and spacious. We found the bar to be a very friendly place with plenty of atmosphere. The meals were fantastic and well priced. I have stayed in several motels in Rocky when travelling through - this one wins hands down for value and comfort. Cannot reccommend highly enough! More
