There isnt much going on in Rockhampton but if like me you're looking for somewhere to stopover on for the night then I'd definately recommend this hostel. friendly staff picked us up from the greyhound station, great facililities ie swimming pool, large kitchen and tv room with great dvd collection, clean and tidy and great value for money more

Rockhampton YHA is very basic, we stayed in one of their cabins and it was already inhabited with various insects and bugs. also, a drunk man knocked on our door in the night thinking it was his room!! The only good thing about this hostel was the free pick up and drop off to the bus stop. more
