Stayed at the Cattle City Motor Inn recently and was quite satisfied with the experience overall. It was a quiet time in Rockhampton and there were few guests in the Motel so noise was not an issue for me. Rooms close to the highway end of the complex may be troubled by traffic noise however . This is an old motor inn which needs refurbishment. Unfortunately on the night we stayed here, there was a rodeo in town. The name of the motel should have been a hint, cowboys like to stay here. Drunk cowboys coming back to their rooms make a lot of noise at 4 in the morning. Give this place a skip unless... more
