Just a one night stay here for my family on the way back from local beaches, but really enjoyed our time in Rockhampton. We Hope to be able to visit again, staff were friendly and it's a good location.

Went to Rocky 2 weeks after a cyclone hit. Despite obvious signs of destruction, the park itself was clean and tidy. 2 swimming pools were perfect for cooling off and having a bit of down time. Close to main shopping centre was handy and take away across the road. Sunset villa was cosy and neat but could have done with... More

I stayed in a studio unit for 4 nights while attending Residential School at CQUniversity North Rockhampton. It was a quick drive away but I would not have wanted to walk from the park to the uni. The Park was very affordable, tidy (despite Cyclone Marcia having wreaked havoc just a week before) and quiet. The studio had everything I... More

We were at the park with a camper van when the Cyclone hit we owners really looked after their guests and ensured everyone was safe. Opening up 3 motel rooms for the people with vans to use and shelter. They got the park re-opened after trees fell across roadways in double quick time and offered all sorts of advice they... More

Thanks for your review Kenty! We really appreciate your kind words. And you are right, despite the mammoth clean up which was required, very little of our infrastructure was permanently damaged so we are well on the road to be up and running at 100% again! More

Not the best, and not the worst. Staff were friendly, place was clean and tidy. But for me it was just a stopping point, on the way up to port Douglas. No wow factor. But just OK . I would go back, but again just as a rest stop

Stayed here 1 night, it has a great pool with sunloungers around and a friendly, family clientele. We stayed in our campervan on a powered site which was great, the bathroom blocks were clean and well kept. 12 year old brother and sister enjoyed the bouncy pillow thing and the kids play area. No free wifi, shame. Overall it was... More

Second time using the park as an overnight stop on our way through. Rooms always clean and everything you need for a comfortable nights sleep before another days driving. Nice for a swim to unwind and to placate the kids after being stuck in the car. Easily accessible from the highway, quiet and close to the city for eateries. Seems... More

We stopped at the caravan park for 1 night on our way to Airlie Beach. We stayed in a sunset villa (2 adults and 2 teens). The Villa was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We utilised the pools and the tennis court, the jumping pillow was a bit hot as there is... More

We have stayed at this park 3 times now. Our stay in December 2014 was pleasant. The park has New Managment with great ideas especially the great school holiday activites. The 2 swimming pools were lovely to cool off in, and there is a new jumping pillow for those energetic children. The park grounds are greening up nicely as a... More

The toilet was dirty when we arrived. The bathroom tap doesn't turn off. The floors are filthy.Feels grubby and outdated.the room is small and crowded. Filling the kettle and washing the dishes extremely difficult and unhygienic in the bathroom sink
