I arrived in Rockhampton two days after TC Marcia had gone through, and my company had arranged my stay at this hotel. When I arrived there was still no power, however staff had generators going as soon as possible to ensure that people were taken care of. In Cyclone conditions it was more than adequate and it was obvious that... More

Stayed here for a few days during beef week. I was able to book a family room (all that they had) approximately 3 weeks before the start of beef week. This worried me a bit as the town books out well before this generally so was a little curious to see what it would be like. The room cost $165... More

yes, it's true. Rooms were spotless, granted it's an older motel, but it's busy . Lots of tradies Utes were in the car park. Air cond worked well, very warm welcome from management, easy to understand instructions on how to work the Austar and ordinary TV and free wifi. Option to have meals there too. Close to centre of town,... More

Stayed in room 5. Very clean. Door to bathroom does not stay open. The single bed has a middle roller castor which can be a real problem as far as kicking your toe regularly !! Sounds trivial but be warned. Toilet bowl stained and cistern sounds like it is always filling. Walking distance to City Center Plaza.( a couple of... More

We stayed here on the way through to Mackay. We were offered either a stanard or deluxe room, and we settled on the deluxe for a few dollars more. The room was quite large and spacious, but mostly outdated. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. The motel has a very nice restaurant, which is also the breakfast room... More

I stayed here for the past four nights, due to my usual hotel in Rocky unfortunately being booked out. I haven't stayed in anything for the past 15 odd years under 4 star, and quickly remembered why. Although the bed was fairly comfortable that's about where the comfort stopped. The Bathroom hasn't been updated obviously since building the hotel some... More

We had an upstairs room ... carpark was crowded and tiny, the room was clean but well past needing a refresh. The fact that the room was clean, combined with unlimited wifi and friendly reception staff were the only positives for this outdated Comfort Inn. I didn't expect a lot in the first place though ... just needed a bed... More

This place thankfully was only a short stop over for us. We arrived evening time and waited a few mins at reception and then this man came out and grunted at us.....when we both looked at him as if to say what's your problem.... He said sorry it's been a long day!!!! Room was grand, did the job for one... More
