I stayed at the hotel for three nights while visiting the are on business. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but the room I had came with a huge four poster canopy bed which was rather swish. The host was very helpful with information on the region to assist my stay. Perhaps the best part of the stay was the... More

I am still in two minds about this place ... The up side was the quality, ambience and old world charm of the property. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The downside was the location. Car traffic could be heard in the room into the evening and first thing the next morning but the worst thing was trains being... More

This hotel is fantastic. Old world luxury combined with mod cons such as big flat screen tele, docking station and awesome spa bath. Breakfast was excellent also and service provided from all staff members was outstanding. I'll definitely be back again and again. The hotel rooms remind me of some beautiful older classy hotels I have stayed at in Europe,... More

This Hotel was a good find in terms of room comfort and value. On arrival the Receptionist was very welcoming and extremely helpful in recommending a number of options for dinner. This property does not offer an evening meal, however directly opposite there is a Hotel providing high quality meals and very friendly service. The room I was allocated was... More

As a Travel Agent I have stayed at hundreds of hotels around the World in many varied locations, and this is certainly in the top category. A little on the edge of town, but near the railway station, it has that magestic feeling of a heritage type building and the rooms add to that feeling. The owners have converted this... More

I was recommended this gorgeous little place hidden away in a side streets. As it is not on the highway I would have missed it. I was travelling further north on holidays and was only there for the one night. It was a truly delightful place to stay. It is near the railway line, but only heard one train early... More

This hotel took my fancy when I first saw the website. And the reality did not disappoint. A beautifully appointed room furnished to match the building's era made the week-long stay memorable, as did the breakfast room. The location isn't on the main street. Instead, given its railway background, the hotel firmly sits next to the railway lines, and trains... More

It's a very beuatiful old classic hotel with average price. Big bed and big room. Friendly staff of the hotel. Located in Rocky-Australia, just accross from The Great Western Hotel where usually have Rodeo event. Just right beside the train railway Only 10 minutes from Rocky airport. Not far from the town.

We have just spent four nights at this gem of an hotel. Good parking, quiet area. The breakfast offered each day was an amazing. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The bonus was a spa bath in the corner, which was so relaxing at the end of a busy day. We were in Rockhampton for business, but our... More

This Hotel was such a pleasant surprise in Rocky, I wouldn't normally be staying in such luxury especially when travelling alone but I had a great stand-by rate, booked only 2 hours before arrival. My room was No2, it is beautifully appointed with huge furniture but the room being so spacious it was very much in proportion. the double spa... More
