Location is great, close to walking path on the river. Covered parking area was good. However, the rooms are rather dated. It's okay for one night but I wouldn't want to be there any longer. There's supposed to be Wifi but we couldn't get it to work in our room. Our friends didn't have any problems, though. On the positive... More

Travelling from Townsville to Sydney we stayed here just for one night stop over. Check-in was simple, hostess was welcoming and helpful. Property was dark in the corridors and a little on the tired side however had just the facilities that we needed for one night. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Only problem that we really had was... More

TV remote was not working, no toaster because of the fire alarm. Terrible bed. All in all I would not have my dog staying there. The only good thing was the reception. Nice and warm welcome. I agree totally with the comment from the swagman, Wongelepone

We were stuck in Rockhampton due to road closures. On checking in we found the managers helpful and friendly and flexible we thought we might be there for only one night but ended up staying 4 nights. The room was spotlessly clean and the rates were very reasonable. The managers did everything to make our stay comfortable. We had our... More

The motel section is older, but very secure and very quiet. It is structured with a centre aisle with rooms on either side. The rates are very reasonable. The rooms are older style, but ours was immaculately clean, with a Queen sized bed, a writing desk area, a table with 2 small arm chairs and - plenty of power points... More

We paid for an upgrade, paid $122 for a very ordinary room. It had plenty of room but - the chairs in the room were disgustingly dirty, I wouldn't recommend sitting in (I've seen better furniture on the side of the road on a curbside cleanup day), cupboards were broken, doors wouldn't open, lights wouldn't work, TV didn't work. The... More

Stayed 2 nights on a business trip as other places I’ve stayed before were booked out. The rate for a room at the rear was only $99 and was quite reasonable. The room was quiet and the bed was a king size and quite comfortable. The motel isn't brand new however it is clean and everything worked ok. The in... More

We stayed for two night and enjoyed our stay. The owners go out of their way to be helpful and are very accomodating. The rooms are not large, but adequate, very clean and well maintained. The shower was great and the beds are very comfortable. The pool area is very nice. I agree with the previous review that the air... More

We needed to stay overnight in Rockhampton, this motel was selected due to it's location. All was good, staff were nice and informative we had free wireless internet, also a free online computer in the lobby. The room itself was spacious enough, but it had a very strong musty smell. I should have realized something was up with the fansnblasting... More
