My partner and I stayed there for one night to break up the drive from Brisbane to Townsville. Its location is really convenient if you're traveling in that direction. We stayed in Room 9 which was clean, quiet and had more than enough room for the two of us for the one night. The grounds were really nicely kept and... More

Really great place to stay, big, very clean rooms, air con. Very nice pool, well stocked bar, and the best Eggs Benedict in Rockvegas! Great car parking, undercover for normal cars but plenty of outdoor space for larger vehicles. The owner operators are such lovely people who can't help enough. Really really great place to stay! Highly recommend.

Although on the north side of town and a few kms out, it is well worth the drive. Not luxurious just basic clean and tidy and well kept All ground floor units, minimal highway noise, clean units. The staff give you bread to toast for breakfast and there is a small array of spreads etc in the unit. Covered parking... More

This feels like a classic country motel with a tropical feel. My room was spacious with a queen size and a single bed, a small bench with sink, kettle and a few plates etc. The price was good and included cereal and toast for an in-room breakfast. There is covered parking right outside the door and the room has a... More

The capricorn hotel staff looked after us like family on a recent three night stay. The rooms are great, positioned around quiet pool and gardens - the best fruit salad in Australia and great coffee meant we ate at the hotel restaurant ever night and were never disappointed. Highly recommend this place for great value and service.

We have driven past this place dozens of times, thought it was a conference centre, and due to difficulty finding accommodation finally stopped. The rooms were lovely, large and very clean. We only stayed one night but would have gladly stayed longer. We dined at their restaurant, again a real surprise. Excellent food, even though we were the only ones... More

We stayed there for 1 night. It is a lovely located motel out of the city. After a day's driving, we relaxed with a drink overlooking their garden & pool As we were required to commit to dinner immediately on check-in, we chose to eat at the the nearby pub (good food). The complimentary breakfast provided was well received -... More

As a motel it's perfectly acceptable. Staff really good, positioned on the main highway. The wifi here is good, rooms clean. Food was big on portions, average on taste. Nothing particularly to fault it on or to give high praise for. It's a well run motel, good for a nights rest or two to break up a long journey on... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful garden with the pool. It's been quite a few years since we stayed in Rockhampton and as the reviews were mostly positive we decided to stay in this Motel. We like the motel facilities and friendly staff but were a bit disappointed with the room because it wasn't as clean and comfortable as... More

Visiting relatives near Rockhampton has a new perspective now we know we're going to stay at Capricorn Motel and Conference Centre. We were welcomed like old friends by Jodie, Our Disabled room as always was so amazingly clean and to arrive and look over the quiet bushland from our unit patio after a long trip is just bliss.
