The rooms were good, but there was a lot of noise from the hallway and other rooms. Be careful booking a 2 bedroom. One bedroom is part of the suite and the other bedroom is adjoining. The smaller room is the noisy one. Breakfast was ok, Big queues and not a lot of food left. Food was good, but did... More

My husband and I recently stayed here.. And we'll definately be back! So fresh, modern and clean, the bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud made out of marshmallows, it had all the amenities you could think of, and styled very well.. The pool was AMAZING, staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We unfortunately missed out on being... More

Our second stay in Port Douglas, first at QT. Friendly, very clean, close to the pool but not noisy. The first week in December is obviously off-peak, so no problem getting sun loungers and shade. If you are going to dine in the restaurant make sure you are hungry, very relaxed atmosphere and loads of food. When we return to... More

This resort is one of the best we have been to. Our room was very large fresh and clean the bed was so comfortable. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Upon discovering it was our wedding anniversary the hotel manager even sent a personalised card to our room to wish us a happy anniversary. The pool was well laid out... More

PORT DOUGLAS was the HIGHLIGHT of my Australian/ NewZeland vaca! However , the " QT" was a little disappointing. First, the front desk staff was extremely kind and polite! HOWEVER, the rooms were very simple, and bugs in room. Also, limited menu for room service, breakfast out of utensils, cups, yadayadsyada. Pool area not with sufficient seating ! Sadly, I... More

We just returned from our week in Port Douglas staying at QT. We loved every minute of it! We were there for our honeymoon and spent most of our time relaxing by the beautiful pool. We didn't need to venture far as everything we needed was at the resort, the only down side was the pool bar wasn't open the... More

The nautical theme worked well in this hotel and ran through the decor and the clothing worn by the breakfast staff. Breakfasts were excellent, newspapers available for early risers and I liked the fact staff were neither too slow nor too quick in clearing plates away. Our suite was well-appointed and comfortable and we used the washing/drying facilities. There are... More

We stayed for 9 nights in the middle of a five week tour, to visit the barrier reef and the rainforest and to relax from the touring. The hotel grounds are beautifully laid out, with palm trees growing in the room areas, central grassed walk areas and an attractive pool. Bar, reception and restaurant are all in a modern trendy... The hotel is quite new with trendy common areas and beautifully maintained gardens and ponds. The room was ok, modern and very basic. Though the room was clean, we found a few small cockroaches in the room and bathroom. This hotel is advertised as a five stars resort but do not expect five star standards.

We stayed at this hotel last week. Overall experience was average. Staff at Reception were really good. I felt the rooms to be ordinary, not so 5 Star type. For Garden view room, couldn't really see a proper garden from balcony. Well, Was not aware until checkout that minibar is not complementary but Don't dare touch the fridge, you end up... More
