What a great experience we had staying at Mowbray by the Sea! Andrew and Melissa rescued us when another place we had booked in PD went a bit wonky. They gave us great rates, arranged for our very early arrival on Easter Sunday, and had Easter eggs waiting for our kids in their room. We felt right at home in... More

Rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean and all of them have there very own private balcony which... More

This is the second time my family and I have stayed here. The location is perfect - being only minutes to the beach and a short walk to the main street with shops, restaurants etc. The apartment is showing its age a little with the bathroom being a little dated now but the kitchen was well equipped and with all... July stay. Greeted on arrival with the accomodation management under administration and people in charge with no tourism skills. It was one of the many Latitude properties under administration. Property needs major makeover of kitchen and bathroom. Cleaning needed of all kitchen utensils, bathroom hand basins, and washing machine before use. We bought new pillows from Target. Very difficult to speak to... More

There were no air keys to be had for our two night stay so every time we needed to park our car it was a hike from the outside into the foyer, then downstairs to let the car in. Not funny after the third time. No hot water either which was a bugger. Apartment was clean enough though.

Really. First of all- Location. Less than a minutes walk to the beautiful Four Mile Beach and direct entrance to the stinger net. Macrossan Street with all it's wonderful array of shops and restaurants is an easy stroll around the corner. Across the road is a lovely park and there is a small children's playground next to the Surf Club... More

I strongly recommend staying here when you are in Port Douglas. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the apartment is very comfortable and at a great central location in town. Seconds from the beach & minutes from restaurants and the big Coles supermarket. The apartments are quiet and very private. Food in Port Douglas is often times quite expensive,... More
