“Amazing Accommodation & Friendly Staff”

We recently stayed at the Outrigger for 8 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Andrea, Brett & Lilly (their adorable puppy) were lovely hosts and I would recommend the Outrigger to both families or a group of friends wanting amazing accommodation at a reasonable price. Brett & Andrea are friendly hosts who booked our trips to nearby attractions and were always willing to assist. Lovely place to stay, as soon as We arrived we were greeted by Andrea and her little white doggie, she took the time to show us a map of port douglas and where the best places to eat were, suggested things for us to do and then walked us to our apartment, and gave the kids the wifi password! We were thrilled with the view from our private balcony which over looks a beautiful tropical swimming pool, the rooms are very spacious and we had everything we needed. The location is very handy for the main Port Douglas attractions; Macrossan Street-5 minutes stroll; Four mile Beach-10 minutes; and the Marina-10 minutes. “Pretty average, much better places to stay”

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, which was plenty of room for us and the room also had a large balcony. Our bed was incredibly uncomfortable! When we arrived at the Port Douglas Outrigger around lunch time and all appeared quiet ! We called Andrea on her mobile as the check in time is 2pm. Minutes later Andrea arrived and was so helpful !! She gave us our apartment key and told us about loads of day tours and where to eat! Her husband Brett does... More

Just spent a week here. We found the service was excellent - plenty of assistance with choosing where to go for good value & FUN. Our room was newly renovated, everything we needed was provided in the room. We were made very welcome by Andrea when we arrived, with ongoing assistance throughout our stay. Great value.
