I contacted the management direct to book an apartment. He wouldn’t discount the price but promised me a nice room, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The apartment looked like it had just been fully renovated, with floating floor in the living areas and quality carpet in the bedroom. There was a square balcony with full size table,... More

We booked the unit a day before arrival. $90 a night we thought was a great price for the location and being a self contained unit, though we knew not to expect the Hilton. On arrival the place was surprisingly better on the outside than expected, Tim(owner) didn't have our booking in the system and the reception was a bit... More

We stayed here in mid December as the first part of our holiday. We found our apartment to be spacious, clean, great value for money and in an ideal location - really close to both the beach and the restaurants. Tim the manager was extremely friendly and helpful and gave some great recommendations for the great barrier reef.

Immediate impression is the grounds & pool area need work, broken pots with dead plants is not an attractive look. Reception appalling, walk ways & stairs filthy, together with the smell of dogs & cigarettes - not at all appealing. Apartment good size, but not clean, appliances cheap & laughed when we could not find the oven, first apartment I... More

I agree with everything you have said All I can ask is hat you look at reviews from some months ago. I have been quite ill but hopefully am on the mend. First port of call, pot plants and new plants etc. More

Just back from our Xmas holiday in Port Douglas where we stayed at Marina Terraces. We arrived to a spacious, spotlessly clean, fully self-contained, two bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable, Crisp linen and fluffy towels were appreciated as was the big bathroom and separate toilet.. fans and air conditioning worked. Lots of pots crocs and glassware in the kitchen... More

We stayed at Marina Terraces for 14 nights in August 2014,We found the room to be great value ,close to town, close to beach ,well equipped with everything that you would require supplied ,including excellent BBQ facilities and if there was anything that we required the Manager Tim was only to happy to oblige with a happy disposition. Over all we... More

Good value for money given it was Christmas. On arrival could not find anyone to assist despite us advising of arrival time etc was told there would be a note advising unit number. Took over 20 minutes and incorrect room number and then given key to an occupied room. Back down three flights of stairs and then a friend of... More

I have never in my life used a narcotic. Nor was I affected by alcohol. My friends did their best as I was hospitalised at the time of your check in. I apologise for your bad experience but assure you that I would much rather have been there myself. I have had a stroke, several bad seizures in the last... More

Just got back from staying here for 4 nights over Christmas. We had a two bedroom unit which was good. The beds were comfy and the unit had everything you need including free wifi. Complimentary items were limited eg. No tea bags and one roll of toilet paper. The room was in need of a good clean. The wifi password... More

Location was great for access to main street in Port Douglas, 4 mile beach and marina. Unit was a nice set up and has lots of potential once management gets their operational issues sorted. Management seems to be struggling. Late check in instructions were supposed to be posted at office but were not there (as outlined in booking confirmation and... More

Like Jmkel, I found this place to be different than advertised, but I was okay with it because of the price. These do feel like discount holiday apartments, but that is not always a bad thing. The pool did look uninviting, the gardens were not very pretty, and the reception are was very unkempt, but I had three good nights... More
