I stayed here two weeks ago with my husband and only logged on here to look at reviews after we checked-in. How I wished I had looked before booking. I'm not sure if the 4 and 5 star reviews are people from the resort itself or just people with very low standards. Our apartment was dirty. We walked in to... More

We were a family group of 8 adults and 3 children. We took two 2 bedroom units ( for 4 nights)and found the accommodation adequate and comfortable, with privacy for the couples as well as space for the kids to play. The plunge pool was a great place for the kids to enjoy themselves with minimal supervision. The BBQ facilities... More

Thanks for staying with us Nigel; I am pleased our facilities worked out well for you. The BBQ area is a great gathering space and for those that have stayed before, we have just installed a hot water connection to the tap which makes cleaning up a lot easier. The Plunge pool rooms are a great family option where kids... More

After travelling around other parts of Australia on a trip from the UK it was nice to relax at Oaks Lagoons. I note comments about the poor pool quality from other reviewers but this was not our experience. We upgraded to a swim up room and pool was fine. Room was really excellent and able to have a breakfast of... More

Thank you Colin for taking the time to submit a review of the Oaks Lagoons. I can imagine how our swim out rooms would have been a great way to recharge your batteries after such a hectic schedule taking in as much of Australia as you possibly could in the short time available. We do have some amazing natural wonders... More

I've been reading the last few reviews and can only assume the recent three (all n the same day incidentally), all taking aim at the earlier two critical reviews of the pools, have been written by management. I agree with the earlier reviews about the pools. It has nothing to do with pollen and falling leaves. That is normal. Warm,... More

Thank you very much for your review. We are very proud of the Lagoons property and we welcome our guests to come and enjoy what truly is crystal clear and pristine pools. Our property is clean and very tidy as reflected by the majority of our reviews. I am sorry in this instance if your stay was not to your... More

We just recently spent 8 nights at Oaks Lagoon for our first family holiday with 3 small children. The apartments were very spacious and very clean upon arrival. We had a plunge pool which the kids loved and it also was very clean. Once the kids discovered the lagoon we would spend hours in there each day. Not once did... More

Thank you Sara for taking time to submit a review. We are pleased you had a great holiday with the family and found the staff helpful during your stay. The plunge pool rooms with their private courtyards are great for families, particularly families with small children as they make a great controlled space where the kids can be watched. We... More

I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment upstairs, and found it most spacious and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen was great, and it's only a short trip either way to supermarkets, to buy the essentials. The arrangement with the hotel next door for breakfast is also very convenient. There is plenty of free parking, and easy to come and go. Also... More

We are pleased you found the room comfortable and easy access to shopping and nearby restaurants. Being able to park near your unit is very convenient though we hope you did visit us at reception to get some local knowledge and tour information from us at some stage. Replacing the roller blinds with better blinds or curtains in the bedrooms... More

I couldn't fault my recent stay at Oaks Lagoons.....I'm not sure what the previous reviewers meant about the pools as I thought they were perfectly clean & well serviced, especially since this time of year brings the extra challenge of flowering trees dropping their pollen & leaves. The six pools also mean it's easy to find a peaceful spot to... More

So pleased to read you had a wonderful stay with us. I too am perplexed about the previous reviewer’s comments particularly as they though this was a health issue which would suggest immediate action needed to be taken but nothing was brought to our attention at the time. With the Melaleuca trees shedding their flowers at present, I also think... More

I have to agree with the previous review, something is not right with the pools here. The water looks and feels dirty. It's like when you fill up a kid's pool at home and don't have filtration or treat with chemicals. It can't be good to swim in. We didn't get the $99 a night deal sadly, but this place... More

I am sorry we were not able to address your concerns whilst you were here. Our pools are all salt water chlorinated not liquid chlorine so they do not have the strong chlorine smell that some other pools have. We are concerned for any issues our guests have and always like to have the opportunity to rectify any shortcomings at... More

I should have known a room with a swim out for $99 a night would be too good to be true. Room is spacious, damp mouldy smell on arrival but aired out quickly. I can live with the quality of the room (spot clean but needing a serious spring clean), but the issue is the pools. They are filthy. They... More

I am concerned you felt the pools were a health hazard yet nothing was brought to our attention at the time to ensure a quick resolution for the health and safety of all guests. Our pools are chemically checked and logged daily by our staff and weekly by an external company to ensure the chemical balance is maintained. At this... More
