We stayed in a two bedroom swim out apartment. Both bedrooms were of a good size as where the two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms led out to the swimming pool as did the sitting room. Great place to stay. We had swim out 2 bedroom apartment - very roomy and had everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable and air conditioning in each room which was great. Having the pool right outside your door was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone. We certainly would go back there. more

Oaks Lagoons is a modern facility but is not a hotel, just apartments, no bar or restaurant on site. We stayed in a hotel spa room which was part of a package tour. It was good value, we stayed only 3 nights which was fine, but a week in a small hotel room with only tea and coffee making facilities... more

Not sure why this hotel got some bad reviews. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. Thanks to Danielle at the front desk who helped us with everything we needed to know. Our apartment was clean, fresh and on the ground floor with a lovely sunny disposition including all the creature comforts we expected like a dryer.... more

We were so impressed with this place. We had a second floor room – good size with fridge, kettle and sink and a nice bathroom. Décor was clean. We also had a hot tub on our balcony which was a lovely surprise. The pools were clean and an OK temp – but who’d want to spend time in the pool... more

We had a ground floor apartment with open plan kitchen/diner/living room and swim out pool. The apartment was clean and spacious with washing and drying facilities for clothes. Staff were very helpful Hotel next door had a nice bar and a shuttle bus runs from there every 15 mins into Port Douglas until midnight. Great restaurant called the Beach Shack... more
