We booked Peppers full of expectation and were let down on virtually every parameter. We paid for a swim up room, save your money the decks have no shade and they are regarded by the kids as great places to dive, bomb and jump from. The pool was freezing to the point where my wife wouldn't even get in. The... more

Travelling with a six yr old and a two yr old - this was a great break! The pool area is safe and the kids just loved it. Rooms are big (furniture a bit over sized) and the spa pool on the deck was loads of fun for them also!! more

We fortunate enough to get a really good rate considering we didn't book ahead. The room was spacious enough and clean. We liked the modern decor and color template used in the room design. A few things struck us as odd: The bath/spa was on an open balcony with no bi-folding blinds or shades allowing no privacy. If we wanted... more

We were unfortunate enough to stay here for one night. (Or should I say fortunate enough). How on earth this place gets a 5 star rating is anyone’s guess. First impressions of the room were that is was not clean. There was hair on the bed, and in the bathroom on the floor. The soap holder on the bathroom sink... more

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peppers Beach Club. - We found the location to be convenient (as we didn't have a car, it was great to be just a short walk from the main street). - The kids loved the pool and we had one of those wonderful "swim-out" apartments where you can swim from your... more

We had the most amazing stay at Peppers Beach Club, although it was very central we could easily walk to the Marina and all the shops and restaurants within minutes, it was a peaceful and well appointed facility. We had a suite and spa room making up a two bedroomed apartment which was roomy and easy to relax in. The... more

I was really disappointed with this place. It reeks of Costa de sol apartments all cramped in on top of one another. There is little privacy between rooms as they all overlook one another. The rooms themselves are tiny with not much space beyond the bed. The staff were moderately helpful. There is little personality about this place and I... more

The strangest thing at Peppers Beach Club is the $300 charge they tell you will be incurred if you lose the room key! I've never encountered that before anywhere else in the world. How legally enforceable that would be if it came to the crunch would be an interesting question - given it's not a condition made when booking. Putting... more

After a disappointing experience with another Port Douglas provider, we were delighted to stumble across this property! Great staff, great price, great continental breakfast. Close to all amenities that Port Douglas has to offer, I would highly recommend this property to anyone. The studio spa room was very impressive for the price we paid. more

I must say I expect the best.. If your looking for an amasing 5 star hotel.. you simply won't get it in PD. PROVOCATIVE = YES. My point is, there is clearly no Hyatts, Hilton's or Westin's in PD. BUT... for a VERY good reason! It doesn't need it! At the end of the day it's a small costal town... more
