5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013 via mobile

This place was not only very reasonably priced, the service was great, it was very well located and the rooms were huge! We travelled as a couple and stayed in a studio room which had kitchen facilities including a fridge, stove top, microwave, pots and pans etc, seperate bedroom, seperate bathroom and seperate toilet. It was plenty spacious and was... More

Recently stayed for 3 quick nights in a studio room at the Hibiscus. The hotel grounds and overall Balinese decor is very charming. Rooms are a bit dated but overall clean and very comfortable. I think what makes this little gem so wonderful is the location and staff. I was blown away by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff.... More

It is often a risk to book online based on photos (who knows how old). Arrived at Hibiscus Gardens Spa Resort met by very friendly staff member at reception, this lovely lady even had a smile. Our one bedroom was on the top floor overlooking the pool through beautiful tropical plants. The room was absolutely spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom.... More

We had a Getaway voucher and after checking Trip Advisor decided to book for our honeymoon with no expectation of a 5 star resort. Upon check-in a guest asked if they could get their money back and check-out so this was not a great start but we couldn't have been happier! Joni on reception was so friendly, even remembering our... More

Recently stayed here for 10 days with my husband & did worry that because we got it as a 'Getaway' special deal they may have cut some corners. Definitely not the case. Loved the place. Not 5 star but doesn't pretend to be. Lovely Bali inspired features in the rooms & surrounds. 2 great pools, superb continental breakfast (service was... More

Having purchased a Getaway voucher for Hibiscus for 5 nights, we were keen to redeem it and escape the cool autumn weather in Adelaide. We had a wonderful stay and really liked our 1 bedroom apartment which was very roomy with a balcony, lounge/kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom with separate toilet. Hibiscus is very balinese in style with many palms, teak carvings... More

The reviews about this property were very helpful. My partner booked the basic room in a hurry without reading tripadvisor! He was really looking forward to a balcony! The studio apartment had a tiny balcony and in our case only building view. I told reception about the situation immediately and they moved us to a more expensive room without charge... More

While this may not be a five star property... it's a five star experience. We loved our little apartment, the proximity to town, the lovely gardens, the relaxing atmosphere, the flexibility of management, the beautiful pools. It was a perfect point of departure for adventures at the reef and beyond. Buddhas everywhere. Thank you.

My partner and I stayed 5 nights in march. The receptionist was lovely checking us in and walking us to our room. The room was beautiful and pools were lovely. Breakfast was good as we recieved It for free but probably not with the $18 they charge for it (fruit coffee toast cereal). Having said that, the beautiful lady who... More

We stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom unit for the Port Douglas Rugby union 7's. The unit was clean and tidy close to the main street and has a great pool. The only thing we didn't like was the box aircond in the bathroom that mean't while someone was is there you got no air cond in the rest... More
