really comfortable, clean and spacious. Lovely place. Very close to shops and beach. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Scott does a fantastic massage. The only negative was the kitchenette as cooking in it set the smoke alarm off. Also it lacked some basics like a can opener, salad bowl, etc

Just returned after a 10 night stay at Hibiscus Gardens. We were two couples in our late 40's :-) and stayed in apartments 40a and 40b. One being a studio apartment, the other, a slightly bigger one bedroom apartment. I'd say the position of these in the resort would be unbeatable. They are on the second floor, with balconies overlooking... More

The resort is located centrally to the marina, the beach, and the main shop/restaurant street, with each of those locations only a few minutes walk away. The staff were very helpful in the lead up to our stay and once we got there. The rooms were were nice and spacious with the ability to eat in with a cooktop and... More

I booked this hotel for our honeymoon over the phone, they happily took my deposit but neglected to send a confirmation email. Also neglected to advise breakfast was included in the cost. Upon arrival and check in Scott seemed preoccupied, asked us to fill in paperwork and disappeared for almost 10 min, no one else was around to ask what... More

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights at the Hibiscus Resort and Spa (19-24 October, 2015) and had the most wonderful time. We made our booking over a year in advance through ‘Luxury Escapes’ and paid AUD $888.00 for the package deal (comprising 5 nights’ accommodation for two, a dinner for two, a sunset cruise, two 30 minute massages,... We had a suite on the first floor overlooking the resort pool and our five night stay was very relaxed and comfortable. The resort is in transition as the new owners make changes, but we were greeted with the chilled bubbly and followed up with delightful strawberries. Yes, it could do with some TLC, but that certainly didn't stray from... More

This place was our final stop on our 3 week Australian holiday. The reception was closed on our arrival but our key had been left in an envelope on the front counter. Our room was on the ground floor with a walkway outside. There isn't much privacy so we had the blind pulled down the duration of our stay. The... More

We stayed in a studio room on level 3 overlooking the large pool. No negatives about this place. Receptionist was a breath of fresh air. Friendly smile every time we walked past. Definitely we will returning. It had location, cleanliness and great atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
