Location is perfect. Staff are helpful and efficient. Top quality meals. Rooms are a little tired, but they are clean and bed is comfortable. We did not spend much time in the room anyway. Highly recommend a visit.

Thank you for your kind entree, Yes my staff family are loving to make all our guests feel at home and go that extra bit further to ensure that all guests are having a great time. It is a wonderful place to relax on a private beach. The food is excellent. The staff is very friendly and everybody is welcome. But you need a car to descover the surroundings. There is no transport connection. And the rooms (beach few) have to be refurbished when this hotel will be legitimated his room rates.

Thank you for your kind and helpful comments. You are so right, although there are bus services around here, but they must be booked well ahead and our luck they don’t go past when you want it he…he…, hence a car is always a good idea to see the many attractions around us. The room renovations are happening this February... More

We have visited Turtle Cove many times. It is somewhere we love to go back to to chill out, relax and do very little. The location is fantastic, and great any time of the year. The staff are always friendly. It is a wonderful place to meet and make new interesting and eccentric friends from Australia and overseas.

Thanks guys for your lovely comments here. Yep we just want the Cove to stay relaxed, after all you surely not want any rules with do’s and do not’s here. So many walks of life visit us, but I thought, I was the only eccentric one here, but feel good now that I am not alone he….he…he.. We can’t wait... More

My husband and I stayed at the Turtle Cove Resort and couldn't have been happier. The location is beautiful and a perfect place for gay travelers to stay. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We were picked up at the airport by Ray who was on time and ready for us when we arrived. The check-in process was great!... More

We stayed @ Turtle cove the week before X-mas. Rather calm periode so the free upgrade to "a room with a vieuw" was highly appreciated. this gay resort is really heaven on earth. Everybody is welcome and treated the same way. Young, old, thick, thin ... "Queen B" has friendly words for everybody. Being able to speak dutch was a... More

Dank U well (thank you very much) for your nice comments. Our staff just love taking care of our guests. They see their job not just as a job. They take pleasure by making every guest feel comfortable and at home and that makes a world of difference. When it is freezing cold in Europe, just come back to the... More

Unlike many "resorts", which I dont think this really is, Turtle Cove has such character. The beautiful beach strewn with gigantic rocks, hammocks between coconut trees, the wonderful pool & spa, irridescent blue at night among the trees and stars, mein host who gives a family feel. This was our favourite place in north Queensland; far better than the over-rated... More

Thank you for your lovely comments. You said precisely what we want our guests to feel when they are here. We don’t want you to feel that you are in a resort with all those (don’t do ) rules. Relax, unwind, do what you like, look what you like and say what you like. No one can hear or see... More

Thank you for your lovely comments. And yes, sorry but just before Xmas, no one goes on holidays when the Xmas holidays are a week away. And yes we’re getting busier and busier all the time. I've been visiting Turtle Cove on and off since it was opened as a gay resort in 1993. Love the location, staff and beach. The staff make you feel at home. Thanks for you kind and helpful comments. We work very hard to make you feel happy, relaxed and comfortable.
