I loved this hostel, all staff were really friendly and incredibly helpful. The place had a really nice chilled atmosphere with a pool, tv room and communal areas. Kitchen is a good size with plenty of room to cook although it gets very hot in there! Free WiFi that worked really well and the free tablet hire is really useful.... More

We stayed as a couple at Port O' Call in late November into Mid December. Stayed in a en-suite room. We had a fabulous time both at the hostel and at Port Douglas. Tom and Kiri were excellent hosts and very helpful in advising on which Reef boat to take. They booked our trips for us at the hostel, both... More

Staying in a 5 bed female dorm, wasn't that busy as not peak season but still had an amazing time here. Rooms are clean and beds comfy, air con isn't turned on during the day but there's still a fan to keep you cool so isn't a problem. Hostel has a big clean kitchen with lots of cutlery plates etc,... I was blown away by how nice this backpackers was, while still being very reasonably priced compared to other backpackers I've stayed at. It is clear and colourful and was a great base for our stay in port Douglas. The five bed dorm has two bunk beds and one king single bed with a private bathroom. Perfect for a group... More

Clean rooms, for basic needs. If you plan to spend your vacation in your room then this is NOT for you. The staff is top notch and if you ask they will do their best to make it happen. We used the kitchen daily for breakfasts and dinners. In my opinion the marina, beach and Coles are all within walking... More

We recently spent a week here on our first family holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a Deluxe Room which was very clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The onsite bistro was great – ‘Mexican Night’ was especially delicious! – very affordable and the chef was very obliging in preparing ‘kids... More

I recently enjoyed a fabulous stay at Port O'Call Eco Lodge in Port Douglas– impeccable service, fabulous rooms, huge bed and TV, clean and tidy, great facilities, very affordable and amazing food in the bistro. I had the pan seared barramundi – huge serving and up to any gourmet restaurant standard. I would highly recommend this venue for your next... More

I lived here for 3 months and is one of the best places where I been. All common spaces are comfortable and clean. The kitchen is perfect, you can find all you need. The rooms are big and clean. Tom and Kevin are the best host ever. Thanks for all, your friend from Chile. =)
