After reading reviews on here I was a bit wary about having booked with the Ramada, but I found the place absolutely gorgeous. The gardens, ponds and waterfalls create a wonderful scenery that is just topped off by the pool area and adjoining restaurant beneath and amongst the trees. Our room was just as nicely appointed, with lovely sliding shutter... More

The first thing that hits you about this resort is the stunning outdoor areas - even the indoor-outdoor reception area feels like it is part of a rainforest. Paths leading to the pool area and between the accomodation wings are surrounded by ferns, palm trees and rock pools, as is the pool itself. Swim-up bar is wonderful and my family... More

A good hotel which having been taken over by Ramada is in the process of being renovated. the public areas which had been completed looked good and the pool area was very attractive. Our room was large and had been cleaned up with a bright white coat of paint. Bathroom a bit dated but did the job. We had a... More

We were very happy with our stay at Ramada, considering the cost of our Bed & B'fast was $156 per night. Sure the rooms are a little tired and not all facilities are open, but gee for $156 per night it was great. The restaurant food was excellent, so we ate there most nights. Loved the pool, used the front... More

With previous reviews and the name change in mind we were managing our own expectations before arriving but everything went well. Our request to management for a high level room looked to be missing out until the assistant said with surprise, "oh you have been allocated 307, thats unusual" We had arranged through the hotel for the transfer from Cairns... We spent 4 nights at the Ramada Resort in Port Douglas after it came recommended to us from friends. The rooms were large and well equiped with tea and coffee facilities and a fridge. We were offered a 2 for 1 breakfast voucher when we arrived which meant an all you can eat hot buffet was $15pp. I personally would... More

This resort is amazing it is in the rainforest yet walking distance from the 4 mile beach. The swimming pool in the resort is just incredible with water cascading down the rocks into the pool. It has two shallow areas for small children and a very deep part of the pool and the water is cool unlike other pools in... More
