The Ramada is a really nice resort, it's feel like being in the forest with all this trees around the pool. The staff is really friendly, the restaurant is a bit expensive but the food is pretty good. If I go back to Port Douglas I would stay there again, and recomand it to my friends.

My partner and I stayed here for two weeks at the end of March booking through Wyndham. We absolutely loved everything about ramada and would definitely return again. On arrival the reception staff were very friendly and welcomed us with a nice cool bottle of refreshing water. Makayla at reception was wonderful our entire trip helping us booking tours, restaurants... More

My husband and I stayed here for seven nights with our five month old. We rented a room privately (it was a bit cheaper) but probably should have just booked through the hotel as we would have got a better (read: refurbished) room. However, that said, I could not fault the resort. We stayed here primarily because it was cheaper... More

Booked this "blind" through AirBnB, pleasant place, good to come back to after very busy days out visiting the Rain Forest, Barrier Reef etc. Think we really dropped on as we got the room at a great price and it turned out to be the optimum position in the complex, overlooking the pool, restaurant etc as apposed to some that... Thought I was getting a 4 star hotel but this is a timeshare and not a hotel so don't expect housekeeping. Port Douglas is in a tropical area so I am not sure if this is why the room smelled all the time or if it was the room itself. Air conditioner blows right on you when you are sleeping... More

I stayed with several family members utilizing several suites. None of us had a bad word to say the rooms are modern and spacious, the facilities were amazing and the staff were really friendly no request was to difficult. The pool deck has an amazing wow factor and many an hour was spent swimming or lazing around there. It's close... More

we were staying in a family rental in Port Douglas and went to the Ramada for a breakfast buffet. We loved the eco-friendly setting amongst the trees- under the trees actually. The welcome was very friendly and 5 adults and a 2 year old had a fantastic buffet for a very reasonable price. We were welcome to stay on and... More

I traveled half way around the world, stayed in 5 different hotels, but this one deserves the worst award. It was short staffed due to the "slow season". I paid for a quality hotel and what I got was crap! I needed a few towels, I had to go and pick them up at the front desk. My toilet was... More

Lovely clean two bedroom/two bathroom apartment, although ours didn't overlook the pool area. *sad face*. Well appointed (as you'd expect from such as a time~share/points owner), with a very nice recreational/dining/bar area next to the pool. I availed myself of a full spa treatment too, which was pricey but great for a wind down. Friendly staff, lovely grounds. Well maintained.... More

Comparing it to other places we have stayed for the same sort of price the resort was fine for a night but I wouldn't want to stay there for any longer. We would prefer to be on the beachfront and closer to town even if it is only a short walk to the beach. There is a fairly regular shuttle... More
