We returned to the Ramada again this August for a week's relaxation following a trip to Cape York. The pool area is just so perfect, sun loungers under a canopy of rainforest...so you can lounge in warmth or direct sunshine. The pool is inviting with its waterfall and swim up bar. The restaurant continues to be good value for money... More

I stayed for 1 night for a business meeting in Port Douglas. Although I was there for work, the few hours I had to myself at the Ramada revitalised and refreshed me. The pool was peaceful. Floating on my back listening to the waterfall and looking up into the rainforest trees is so relaxing. The staff were friendly and the... More

I love the ramada, I used to live locally and go there everyday. The pool has a waterfall, it's got a beautiful rainforest feel with lots of trees and a pond, the restaurant has great food and the cocktails are awesome. You can swim up right to the bar and have a few drinks. I always get the Long Island... More

The hotel was clean and comfortable and nice atmosphere but i was abused by a male member of dining staff after his teenage assistant seated us at the wrong table. We were told on 2 occasions we wernt supposed to be sitting there and were accused of helping ourselves to buffet without paying. also after many requests for drinks... they... More

This is our second stay at the resort. Both times in a private owned room. The resort it self is very charming & relaxing. The staff are really friendly & helpful. As I know the resort manager reads these posts, I'd recommend two things to boost your sales around the pool area during the days. 1. Add heating to you... More

Beautiful resort, at best, average service and people. Didn't get the room I requested, was rudely told "No" to a late check out. Of course some of the staff were very helpful and always had a smile, most weren't though and I don't think even wanted to smile.

We stayed in a privately owned room but we still had access to all the resort facilities. Great pool, nice bar and nightly dinner specials. We had a look through the resort rooms and they are very nice. Location is a little bit out of the main shopping area but there is a regular shuttle service. Direct beach access.

From the moment I arrived I knew I would enjoy my time out from work and family. Felt very spoilt to have 3 nights in a fabulous huge room, great value found on last minute.com. Loved loved loved the pool

The reception area promises so much and no doubt in its day it was a special place however despite being good it could be spectacular with some work. I could not believe the colours of paint chosen to adorn the corridors, which I describe as 'Army Green'. I would imagine the lower apartments could be quite dark and the upper... More
