“A good place to stay”

We spent one night in Lazy Lizard on our way to Cape Tribulation. A very comfortable motel, everything was nice and clean. It is a bit far from PD downtown or beaches, but that was no problem as we had car. Otherwise the location was very nice. Free WiFi also a big plus.

“Innkeepers were amazing!”

When staying in Port Douglas the Lazy Lizard is ideal - great value, good room, easy parking. And the best feature is the innkeepers Penny and Jim! We stayed for 7 days and they were the best concierge imaginable for restaurants, tours, stores, and day trips.

This was one of the nicest places we stayed in Australia. Accommodation was clean and roomy and had everything you need. Comfortable beds, nice shower and plenty of hot water. The best part about this low cost accommodation is Jim & Penny the hosts. They are so friendly & helpful. “A little gem in Port Douglas”

Our family of 4 stayed for 3 nights and were thrilled at the gem we had found. Jim & Penny were so friendly and helpful, booking our Kuranda Skytrain trip for us. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was an added bonus. We had a very relaxing stay.

“One Night Stopover. Beaut.”

I stayed here with my two sisters. Jim and Penny are a lovely couple that helped us with anything we wanted. The pool is great very clean as the rooms are too. I would recommend this Motel to anyone. It is on out skirt of town but buses run regularly or taxis are cheap.
