We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. The location is great, well within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and marina in Port Douglas. It is also a short walk to the safe swimming area on the beach. You had to pay a very nominal amount to use the barbeque or the gas, however the swimming... More

We stayed two nights. It is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Port Douglas. It's only a couple blocks from the safe swimming area. The facilities are a bit dated but this didn't bother us at all as they all still do their job well. No issues and would go back again.

We stayed there for 3 nights in a van. The staff was nice and helpful. The campsite is well located. Kitchens are at your disposal but you have to pay to use the barbecue or the gas. The amenities are clean. There is a nice and very clean pool. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay.

Spent four nights here in September 2014. It was crowded and the pitches were small, but it was quiet and very friendly. The staff were excellent and worked very hard cleaning and scrubbing the place. They were also very helpful with advice about where to go on trips and where to eat and drink. Could not have asked for better... More

We read good reviews on this park and decided to stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. It was only a short walk to the beach and the shops. So you could park you car and not move until the end of your stay. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and there is a Coles... More

This place was great for the location; The owners are lovely to deal with and love to have a good chat. You can walk 3 min to the beach(Literally walk out the back of the park and you walk across the park), And your about 200m from Macrossan St. Bathrooms and lovely and cosy, Although older, These were very clean... We stayed here on the way back from Cape Tribulation to Cairns. It was pretty crowded and we got the last powered site which was 40 bucks - much more expensive than other powered sites we had on this trip. however, even though it was crowded, it was quiet. The bathrooms, although an older block, were freshly painted and clean.... More

We stayed here one night before returning south. It was 33 for an unpowered site. The park has rear access to a road that is about 3 mins walk to the beach. For this reason I would defo recommend it. The facilities are a bit lacking in the camp kitchen. There's no toaster! The bathrooms are dated but very clean.

Travel back in time ;-). The owners are very friendly and welcoming. I was concerned about a late arrival and called. She was very helpful and offered support in case we wouldn't make it until 7pm. When we arrived, they introduced themselves and he showed us around and advised us to park the van. The amenities were old, but clean.... More
