This place was great for the location; The owners are lovely to deal with and love to have a good chat. You can walk 3 min to the beach(Literally walk out the back of the park and you walk across the park), And your about 200m from Macrossan St. Bathrooms and lovely and cosy, Although older, These were very clean... We stayed here on the way back from Cape Tribulation to Cairns. It was pretty crowded and we got the last powered site which was 40 bucks - much more expensive than other powered sites we had on this trip. however, even though it was crowded, it was quiet. The bathrooms, although an older block, were freshly painted and clean.... More

We stayed here one night before returning south. It was 33 for an unpowered site. The park has rear access to a road that is about 3 mins walk to the beach. For this reason I would defo recommend it. The facilities are a bit lacking in the camp kitchen. There's no toaster! The bathrooms are dated but very clean.

Travel back in time ;-). The owners are very friendly and welcoming. I was concerned about a late arrival and called. She was very helpful and offered support in case we wouldn't make it until 7pm. When we arrived, they introduced themselves and he showed us around and advised us to park the van. The amenities were old, but clean.... More

Perfect location, friendly reception. Great location near the centre so you can leave the camper and walk to town. Bit old, but clean showers and toilets and all the space in the world in march. Best olaces are near the beach to the back of the campsite

We stayed at this campsite for 3 nights in a jucy camper on an unpowered site. I read the reviews on trip advisor before booking so I was not sure what to find. The site was quite empty for us so I can imagine in the busy periods it being jam packed! It is frustrating having to pay 20 cents... More

Booked in for 3 nights...only stayed 1! Check in initially seems friendly getting shown to your camp site personally, however this is just the start of the controlling attitude of the owners! Sooooo many rules all bombarded at you on check in. Was like living with a STRICT mother! We have stayed in many campsites in our camper van along our... More

We stayed here on our first night in Cairns and were personally showed to our spot by the owner. There was a lovely feeling of seclusion whilst being only a ten minute walk from the town centre. The shower and toilet facilities were immaculate as was the kitchen and eating areas. The only small downside to it would be the... More

We stayed here on our way to Cape York. We arrived late in the afternoon and although there were only a few unpowered sites left, the owners did everything they could to accommodate us. The amenities were very clean and comfortable and the camp kitchen was basic but very handy! We will be staying here again next time we are... More

The camp is close to the beach which was great, with even some waves. it was walking distance to the town. The camp kitchen was basic though useful. Need 20cents to operate the gas, and no utensils provided. Fridge and power points were good.
