All Qld apartments are tiled floors and bamboo furniture! This place is no exception. Good queen bed, ensuite and largish living room. All provided but you get the feeling of cheap when the towels are replace only every four days, the washing up liquid is watered down and the scourer is cut in thirds! Position is the redeeming feature with... More

Room was cool and comfortable. Decent sized balcony, tropical palms giving privacy. Quiet at night. Pool was ample and also private. Jacob was helpful and friendly when selecting tours in the region. Charge for wifi and our airport transfer which i wasnt made aware of until arrival. Other than that cant really complain. Affordable good standard of self catering accomodation.

We found Palm Villas a great, affordable base in Port Douglas, which can be an expensive place if you don't do your homework before travelling. We liked the old school Queenslander design of the building, enjoyed the pool and found the apartment comfy with all the facilities we needed. The owner was a friendly fellow and very helpful.

Jakob is a very friendly host and he gave us exactly what we requested when we asked for a quiet, upstairs room. We stayed in room 18 which is a little dark but only because there are huge balconies, easily big enough to walk around on and have dinner on the provided outdoor table and chairs. Warner Street is parallel... More

We stayed for 4 nights. Great apartment for cooking your own meals. 2 min walk to coles and fresh seafood shop and 3 min walk to the beach. Separate lounge with large flat screen tv bigger than most hotels. Great standard accommodation.

very pleasant apartment just a street back from the main drag - we had a good size balcony overlooking the lush tropical pool. The dense tree canopy on the street was just amazing with bird song. Just like paradise. Lovely palms of all descriptions and tropical foliage everywhere. Jakob the man who managed the place was very friendly and helpful... More

Stayed here for 5 nights - what an excellent place to stay. High quality lodgings for singles or couples - single bedroom apartment with spacious living area and large screened television with Foxtel movies. Kitchen had a full sized fridge, microwave, and hotplates. Each apartment has an individual balcony, and there is a full laundry free to guests. This establishment... More

In a quiet street a block behind the main shops and restaurants street, and two away from the marina and beach. Smallish block of older well-maintained self-catering apartments. Very surrounded by big regal palm trees, which tend to drop fronds but Jakob (manager) keeps clearing these from the cars and car park. Trees make some apartments dark. Ours was on... More

The apartments were spacious and very nicely decorated/equipped. Quiet, cool, well located. Jakob wasn't there when we checked in (1030am) but as the woom was ready, this wasn't a problem; we could move straight in. Only suggestion I would make, is that a transfer to Cairns airport would be a huge benefit, as the taxi/minibus which was ordered for us... More

We stayed one night at palm villas and it was a great experience! The manager greeted us with kindness and wealth full knowledge of the area. The room was large and beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway in port Douglas. Centrally located close to shopping, restaurants and bars. Will definitely return!!!
