We had a powered site for 4 nights with our campervan. It was 37$ per night for 2 Person. The toilets and showers were clean, washing costs 3 and drying 2 dollers. Wifi works only close to the modem points but was fast and costs 1$ per 10min.

We planned on six nights in Cairns and as we were tenting we checked the internet for a suitable booking at a reasonable price. We were surprised to come across the cabins at Sunland Leisure Park at $44 per night or $41 if staying for more than three nights. This price was better than some of the tent sites offered... More

We have just spent 10 days in Cairns and found this park to be great value. Clean facilities, tropical gardens and very quiet. I would recommend this park to any family on a budget. The staff were helpful when we asked for more blankets during a cold snap.

We have just had an enjoyable week at this park. Very good value, clean amenities and friendly staff. Do remain vigilant re locking vans etc as there was some issues with theft from unlocked vans overnight. Remember you are in a populated area and not everyone is honest. Had no problems with poor lighting or the size of the site... More

First of all, I wish I had read trip advisor about this place before booking. Lesson learned! We booked this place when we were driving to cairns as the place we wanted was fully booked and this place was much cheaper. Now we know why. The powered camp site to fit a family tent we said we needed turned out... More

We are sorry that the guests couldn’t fit on the site, but they were offered other larger sites, as mentioned in the review. We are sorry that we couldn’t accommodate them, but sites are at a premium this time of year and the majority are booked weeks in advance. As for climbing over the fence, the fence is over 3... More

We booked whilst on the road heading to Cairns, we only rang for a price and availability on a campertrailer site for two nights. The receptionist was friendly but in hindsight wasted no time securing our credit card details for payment. My wife and I shared a 'camper trailer' site with my parents. First problem was their idea of a... More

We are very sorry that the guest did not have an enjoyable stay, however, the neighbours in question are not on our property and for that reason we can have no control over them (as is acknowledged in the review). As with any private property issues, if there are problems with noise, the only solution is to ring the police... More

We have previously stayed at this park and found it to be reasonable accommodation for the price. However, this time will definitely be the last time as the man we spoke to on the phone firstly was very offhand, take it or leave it, customer skills non-existent, We went with the booking only because we gave him the benefit of the... Place is very good for the price you pay 38 dollar in a self contained cabin with flat-screen and foxtel movie channels, very large fridge, a good microwave and very clean, shared showers and toilets also clean but smelly sometimes but that's people how don't know how to flush...

We are very sorry that your bike was stolen, but we definitely do have security in our park. We have a locked boom gate, a high fence and security cameras throughout the park. As for lighting, all avenues are well lit. So much so, that, guests often mention that it is too light. Generally, the only time things get stolen,... More
