The managers excel at making their guests welcome. During my four visits last year, average stay 6 weeks; I always found my room and the facilities clean and well tended. As someone who travels extensively for work, I find the accommodations comfortable, not posh or “cookie cutter.” The atmosphere is homey but not intrusive. The rooms I stayed in, one... More

I stayed here about 2 months I was informed on check in weekly cleaning was included in the rate. The cleaners never cleaned the room properly and then When i got home $395 was charged to my credit card for cleaning and some pre existing damage. They kept my credit card details from the initial booking and charged it later... More

This guest caused major damage to our property and insurance claims were made as a direct result of the damage caused. We have photograpic evidence of the damage and filth left by this guest. As our apartments are individually owned, the owner is also involved and can justify the charges made. These charges in no way covered the damage caused.... More

My husband and I stayed at Cascade Gardens in September 2010 and enjoyed it so much we decided to return with our two granddaughters in September 2011, which we did. We had a family room which suited us as the two girls had single beds and we occupied the larger room which had a spa bath in the en-suite. There... More

Thank you for your feedback and we appreciate the high ratings you gave us in all areas. In response to this feedback, we have since placed castor cups under the feet of all beds and purchased all new kitchen supplies for all of the rooms. We are fully aware of the fact that the bath can be difficult to get... More

This was one of our favourites as it was our parents. My parents used to stay here for 8 weeks a year while they visited my brother in Cairns. We would meet them there for a week of the stay. It used to be fabulous, then new managers moved in. It is close to town, an easy walk down the... More

We appreciate your feedback and high scoring. In response to your concerns, we have since purchased all new pillows and each room contains 2 pillows per guest. We are also more than happy to provide additional linen on request. As we are a family business and live on site full time, we do have a family pet who is loved... More

Waiting to hear about an exiting new job, we needed a comfy and economical place to stay in Cairns. Ended up staying 3 weeks. Great little property, welcoming hosts. Didn't even have to give cc details when booking, just turned up and chilled out. Great little pool, and bbq area. Property used to have a liquor licence, and you could... More

I booked a unit with one double bed for six nights an i had a fantastic stay. This hotel is a short 15-20 minute walk to the esplanade and the night market. The room is very clean and tidy, it is well serviced and quiet so i had a good rest everyday. The staff are very friendly and detailed in... More

The place was amazing with fantastic management who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms had everything you could need and were very clean. We loved the outdoor area and spent many hours lying by the pool followed by BBQ's in the evenings. It was in a great location only a short walk to central... More

I booked this place as we wanted self-contained and on the website it states a 1 bedroom apartment has 1 queen bed AND 2 singles. I thought this a bit unusual but booked it anyway without clarifying which was my mistake. When we arrived we got an apartment with 1 bedroom and a roll away bed for our child. The... More

Having been booked in to another hotel down the road which was absolutely pathetic, Cascade was a welcome surprise with quality and wonderful staff, Glenda always friendly and helpful. Room was spacious for what we needed, a rug under the bed would have been helpful, but loved the outdoor area and the privacy it gave, lovely pool and BBQ area... More
