room was pretty good actually, shower was great but the exhaust fan was noisy as all hell and the toilet ran on all day and all night so there was a constant squeal in the background. Rooms are good and the bathroom was clean but it was a very noisy hostel. If you want to get some sleep while you are there ask for a pool side room rather than a bar side room as it's very noisy. staff are mainly friendly and helpful. if i went to cairns again i'd try to get a room... more

I was very pleased with the standard of this hostel. I was given a large room which had 4 beds to choose from (even though it was just me!) and it was at the end of a section so I wasn't disturbed. Very pleased with this hostel accommodation in Cairns. We booked a twin room with private facilites. It was more like an apartment you expect to get when you go self catering. It had a living area with a tv, fridge, two sofas, kettle and a microwave. Bedrooms were adequate and the bathroom was very nice and clean. Didn't really see... more
