we have just spent a month at il centro. the one bedroom apartments are as shown in the brochure. we found them spacious compared to many others we have stayed in. automatic washing machine and dryer a big plus. the management and staff were friendly and the cleaning staff friendly and helpful. rooms were cleaned regularly. the major shopping complex... more

We don't particularly like Cairns, but visited to see our son. We were after something affordable and close to Cairns facilities and the Il Centro fitted the bill. We feel compelled to write as previous reviews had canned the staff. They were wrong, the staff all went out of their way to be helpful and the rooms cleaned around our... more

My friends and I stayed at Il Centro for a week. What we found was very different from what we expected when we booked our stay via the internet.
