It's a lovely, relaxing hostel to chill out and enjoy the true spirit of Australia. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially the girl at the reception whose name I don't remember. As a family of four we stayed in a four bed room and we shared all the facilities with the other guests, mainly young people from all... More

Everything is good! Nice place, friendly people and staff. Bedrooms are clean and cheap for that kind of hostel. Hopefully I'll come back soon. Awesome BBQ party on Monday, you can eat crocodile, kangaroo and emu. There is swimming pool, a free pool available as well.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here back in December, it was our first stop on our East Coast tour of Australia and we loved it. It had a really cool, chilled out vibe. We camped in the back garden of the hostel which we think is a great idea because you can still use hostel facilities. They have a pool... More

Stayed here while I was traveling the East coast of Australia, very friendly hostel, rooms were nice and with the place having free wifi made it great, a small walk into town is kinda annoying but the hostel have a regular bus service for free that brings you in and out of town

Stayed at tropic days in April 2014 and had an absolutely amazing time. The rooms are clean and well kept. Safes were a little on the small side but sufficient - anyway you are able to lock your rooms so security is not a problem. Beds are comfortable and you get provided a towel as well. Air conditioning is available... More

Stayed here for 5 nights with my partner and my sister stayed for 2 nights with us. The hostel was beautiful, and the staff are amazing! Very friendly and helped with booking trips, sorting rooms and airport bus. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. I didn't want to leave!! Really hoping to come back and stay again.

We stayed here for nearly two weeks. Such a cute little hostel with really friendly staff, free breakie and free shuttles into town running on a regular basis throughout the day - however me and my sister use to walk it most of the time with it only taking 25mins. Each room is different which is really cool, Kerri who... More

We stayed at this hostel for five nights and camped. The tent was already set up when we arrived and had a mattress, sheets, pillows, towels and sleeping bags provided. It rained everyday for the duration of our trip but the tent never leaked which was really good! The facilities are very clean however the shower on the upper floor... More

Tropic Days has been my favourite hostel so far whilst in Australia. There is a homely and friendly feel about the place, and the staff appeared to regularly clean the kitchen and communal areas. Make sure to go to the BBQ on Monday nights if you can! They serve emu, kangaroo, crocodile etc. (all good quality) and for a reasonable... More

This is a great little hostel. We had the double room with shared facilities and a little kitchenette. It was clean and tidy and well presented. The staff couldn't do enough for us. They were brilliant and their knowledge of the area was good. The Aussie BBQ was a hoot. They cooked emu, roo, croc & barramundi as well as... More
