Advertised as superior, it was anything but. The two bedroom superior suite had cockroaches, hard pillows, uncomfortable small beds. Children in the 2nd bedroom had to come through the first bedroom to use the bathroom. There was no table or couch, just a bed and Tv is all that would fit in these tiny rooms. The pool is not appropriate... More

This place is nothing like its advertisement. They use your credit card that you leave for a deposit long before you even stay there, the rooms are filthy, our fridge had an empty wine bottle in it from the previous tenant , the pool is filthy, the water from the-shower runs out into the entryway, and you can hear the... Thanks Tripadvisers for all your comments which helped in planning a trip to Cairns! My turn to reciprocate. Booked through booking.com. Price included breakfast. Quite a good location -- about 3 blocks from the lovely esplanade, and about a good 15-20 minute walk to where the boats leave for Great Barrier Reef. Plenty of restaurants and shops along the way.... More

We arrived late and were initially allocated a cramped, stuffy room with noisy air conditioner. We asked for a better (ie more expensive, additional $25/night) room and were moved to C block. The rooms were much more comfortable and still represented good value. Breakfasts are very basic but adequate and it's a 10 min walk into town. Overall, only ok... More

My husband and I stayed at Queens Court for 6 nights. The ladies at reception were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Our room was at the front and we found it very noisy as the Hotel is on a main road. We asked to be moved after a night with no sleep. It was no trouble to... More

This place doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but the staff are very friendly, very helpful, and absolutely reliable. When they say they'll take care of it, they do! The rooms are rather small, but adequately appointed and clean. The amenities are spare, but certainly more than we needed. The included breakfast was simple but ample - and... More

I didn't realize there would be a shared bathroom down the hall so I was a little surprised. But all in all I thought it was a great little place to stay. The ladies who worked at the front desk were super nice and very helpful. The place was clean and I thought the free breakfast was pretty good. The... More

This was a nice quiet little place. It is operated by a husband and wife with help from her sister. They are all kind of elderly but so cute, bubbly and great personalities. I really enjoyed chatting with them each morning as I tried to figure out what I was going to do for the day. They were incredibly helpful... More

I've stayed in a few spots in cairns, and this is central without breaking the bank. The added value of breakfast can't be understated in a tourist city! Stayed for one night and extended from there to four nights staff were helpful both by email and in person and I loved there BBQ area, made fora nice change from formal... More
