We were very happy with the apartment and the resort and would stay again. Unlike some previous reviewers we found the staff friendly and helpful. We agree you need a car although there are shops about 15-20 minutes walk away. The resort has two pools, very large warmed spa , putting green (with some impossible holes) and a tennis court.... We had a three bedroom apartment which was very spacious. We were surprised at how cold it was in the pool -everyone stayed in the large spa .We had a car & didn't find the travelling too much as sometimes we headed south & sometimes north of the resort. We are used to travelling (after all we are Australians) We had... Very spacious apartment & well stocked. Location about 10 minutes outside of Cairns, you definitely need a car. Nice pool but not heated. Reception hours very limited and staff cold as another reviewer indicated. No elevator but this is a warning given by the hotel prior to booking. I would not stay there again.

You definitely need a car even if it is to just drive to town. Our apartment was on the top floor (3rd) and there was no lift which was a bit of a problem with the luggage and for my elderly mum. Apartment itself is great. very spacious, well equipped. No housekeeping though. plenty of room for 6 of us.... More

The reception staff are very “cold” and not welcoming. Resort very remote, could not stay there without a car. Nothing nearby. Supplies (tea/coffee, toiletries etc) a minimal amount for 2 people – our apartment was for 6 people One tea towel, no pot mitts for the oven. Kettle not working, hairdryer was missing from the ensuite No rubbish bins near... More

Holiday makers don't realise how much noise travels throughout the complex. I don't think its fair that I have to close my windows to block out the sound of unaccompanied children or children who's parents don't care about other tenants. Tenants who live here permanently have to abide to by-laws to maintain the ambience of the facility and unfortunately those... More

My biggest regret is buying a unit here several years ago. Every morning, I am woken up by the gardeners using their leaf-blower, whippersnipper or chainsaw. Just want I want to hear when I'm pregnant at 6.40am (this is the earliest I've heard it, it's mostly at 7.30am) With the ridiculous amount of money that is paid here in body-corp... More

The best thing about this resort was its unit size. We did a Wyndham exchange and received a 2-BR which was large enough to live in. Facilities were clean. Amenities were complete. Management was rather matter-of-fact - didn't go out of their way to go the second mile. They did not show any sense of welcome or appreciation that you... More

Thankyou very much for taking the time to review our Resort. We are delighted that the apartments were of a size and standard that appealed to you. The bus stop has been moved whilst the road works are completed and then it will be right outside the resort again. I hope you might come back and find it much easier... More

We just spent a great week here, a beautiful resort, perfect for the self sufficient traveller. Not ideal if you don't have a car as it is quite a bit out of town. We had no issue with staff unlike some other reviewers but we really didn't ask much of them, when we did it was readily and willingly provided.... More

What can I say...1 hour late getting our room prepared after we arrived 10 minutes early. Specifically requested not the top floor as we were travelling with elderly parent...guess what top floor. Pool was lovely except for the unsupervised kids that spoiled the tranquility. Yes you are on holidays parents but you still have a responsibility to care for your... More
